Let's see, half the people are TH fanboys and will threaten to burn your friggen house down, and the other half hate on TH at every turn and will say Budweiser is better than TH so of course Fox Farm is.

So this will be a productive discussion for sure.

all I know is they have bad math, a half pour is 7oz and a full pour is 13oz. That's some TH level shenanigans right there.

Fox Farm has a better variety of beer than TH. The Roam series with different hops is A+. Their limited bottles are superb.

Their business model couldn't be more different. Pretty amazing that they don't can their beer but still get a ton of business. Nice to see in this environment.

Currently available for pours at Tree House. 11 different styles, so the "Variety" argument doesn't really fly. I think Fox Farm is great, but it's not Tree House.

    TRAIL MAGIC (German-style Pilsner - 5.2% ABV)
OLD MAN (Extra Special Bitter - 5.4% ABV)
LIGHTS ON (American Pale Ale - 5.3% ABV)
THAT’S WHAT SHE SAID (Milk Stout - 5.6%)
CATHARSIS (American Porter - 7.4% ABV)
MA (Hoppy Amber Ale - 6.8% ABV)
JULIUS (American IPA - 6.8% ABV)
    HAZE (Double IPA - 8.2%)
TRIPLE SHOT (Imperial Stout - 9.3% ABV)
NATIVE SIX (Mixed Fermentation Ale - 6.2%)
NATIVE SEVEN (Bière de Mars - 6.3% ABV)

They are both great. No need to debate who is better. We get to have both.

As long as we're throwing out irrelevant comparisons, Hill Farmstead is better than both of them.

To be fair you can generally take home a solid Porter (imo, hearthbound blows catharsis out of the water) as well as a few farmhouse ales.

Whoever said it above, you're right, my variety comparison was bad. I was thinking of old TH.

And yea, would never say one is better than the other. But for consistent quality, I'd vote FF the best in CT.

How is that Trolling? I pointed out a fact, Tree House brews many styles.
I also said Fox Farm was great, it's actually one of my favorite breweries in CT.

Fox Farm is pretty much a perfect brewery in my opinion. It actually reminds me a little of what Monson could have been like if it didn't have the insane Treehouse demand. Their beer is great, the property is great, and its a place that not only has great beer, but is also a great place to hang out. They are also so out of the way and remote, that it sorts of prevents the crowds from being too huge.
