I left the fest around 5.15 to catch s bus back, and the Line was still ridiculous and half down the side street/driveway.

 

Has anyone heard anything about Greatest Teachable Moments? Good? Bad? Terrible? The suspense is killing me?

 

First year I purchased any taps in a while. I purchased BA Gigantic barleywine, Chemtrail Mix, and 17 DL.

Chemtrail was like Dylan. Hot fire.

I tried finding @FrankenBeery as well as @kodt and was unsuccessful. I was texting @kodt and got within a 50 ft radius of him but lost communication. Ended up running into @toolbrew, which was cool but I was following my group and had to keep moving.

 

I met @Gambyt20 in the holding area before we entered with the running of the neckbeards 2.0 but only because I spotted that Bender hat. Only one person commented on my Wu shirt

 

I believe it has two 5 star ratings on untapped.

 

Sadly I didn’t see any Wu or DA shirts this year.

 

Well that should settle it.

It hadn’t occurred to me until reading this but at no point did anyone verify my guest as my guest. He could’ve easily entered without me.

 

Yeah, and the bag checks were a joke. I barely opened the beer part of my bag and dude was like you’re good.

 

So what is this years post event variant rankings?

 

I feel the week after DLD everyone is trying to drive up the trade value of their variants....

 

Got to try Chemtrail, Brozerk, Hung drawn and quartered, and handjee. They were all really good. We got a handjee and macromachine, I'm really curious on the tequila in macro.

How was the FVM this year? I have a 2016 FVM sitting around and have heard that the 2017 was not as good.

 

I just bought one off some dude for 20. I love coffee and dark matter more than the beer so I didn’t mind paying an upcharge to not wait in a line

 

i had a pour of fvm, it was delicious. sweet but not overpowering. got vibes of vanilla coffee and chocolate covered cherries.

fvm and darklord 2015 were the only 3 floyds taps i had. too many good bottles being passed around and the guest drafts were no fucking joke. lines moved pretty quickly at yum yum too.

 

Not unique to DLD, unfortunately.

 

What kind of things got tapped at the guest drafts? I never visited them, was busy trying to track down variant pours. The only one I knew of was Monster Tones.
