Make homemade salsa and add a small portion of it to make a raspberry salsa. I’ll be trying that out as soon as my tomatoes and habaneros are ready.

Man that sounds good with some grilled chicken. I make my own salsa weekly but have not ventured towards the sweet side of the spectrum.

    Thanks!

I bet I could come up with an interesting vinaigrette as well, thinking about it.

Totally, in general my wide hates beer, but does like some sours. She loved Blackberry Raspberry. If this beer was in a cooler full of drinks at a summer BBQ and people who had no idea what it was, grabbed one, they would love it.

Sounds awesome, btw I LOVE Citrus Jammer, what an awesome refreshing gose at 4%. Picked up two six packs last week, and will certainly be buying more.

Also works mighty fine in a breakfast quesadilla/burrito.

I'm also not trying to be snarky but giving you another data point to consider although I'm not sure how many people my situation represents or if it's even the group you're trying to reach. You've been going on and on about changing the customer service paradigm in beer culture and from what I can tell, people are extremely pleased with how much attention you've been giving them. However, from where I sit, the uniqueness of your marketing seems to be about building a community rather than convenience. Because, for me, I just can't (or don't want to...not sure) plan very far ahead to visit a brewery or pick up beers. That's why I say I'd rather see time-relevant updates on whether or not I can be enticed to head to a brewery. The OH thread here does this perfectly and their Instagram is pretty helpful too. There are other "low-tech" push notification I appreciate like Three's just taking photos of what's in their beer fridge on a daily basis.
What would really change things for me is being able to reserve beer without having to be on high alert the moment it goes on sale-physically or virtually- and being able to pick it up during any business hours. I realize that's probably not possible for small batch beers that are hyped to any degree.
It does seem like you're successfully able to battle #lynelife for those who already decided they're going to dedicate a chunk of their Saturday to beer while building a nice community out of it so I don't know if my even situation is a relevant concern but since you asked...

Threes Brewing pre-order sounds like what you want - reserve it and walk in anytime. (Reservation really isn’t needed though, almost nothing sells out).

Where this doesn’t apply is in any type of limited, hyped release - for example, the 100 bottles of Wild Raspy on sale during the last release. I don’t know how the app isn’t better than having to wait hours in line around the block - with the potential that you could still get shut out after waiting significant time in the line. For me, 2 minutes on the app > X hours in line at a hyped release. Also, on non-hyped releases on the app you can come in an hour/day later and reserve your beer; I think on prior Sixpoint releases some stock lasted a day or two.

The one and only thing that I would think the reservation system does not encourage is someone browsing around and deciding to come to the brewery on a whim to get beer after seeing an IG post (as the beer is spoken for and there isn’t any available for walk-ins). I think the way Sixpoint has tried to fix this is by having the crowlers at each release for anyone who wants to purchase.

You're not wrong there. As you and many others have previously pointed out, there are other breweries like Threes that have pre-order systems. I'm not familiar with any that have made as strong a push to make the system more than just a purchasing system like Sixpoint has, though, which does make it unique. If community isn't your interest in beer (paging @RobNewton), then this wouldn't appeal to you, and that's cool. I have no real interest in joining the OH community in person and much prefer posting snark on the forums here, so I can understand why some may not be interested in that. Everything's relative.

The way you describe your beer purchasing habits makes perfect sense as to why the app and the way Sixpoint is doing things right now doesn't appeal to you. To me, it's not at all inconvenient to take 2 minutes on a Monday at noon to buy some beer, and then plan to come the following Saturday to drink some beer with good people and leave with the beer I bought. I would encourage you to focus on the "right now" part of my first sentence, though -- the benefit of having been to most of the releases is having seen the iterative approach they're taking, and I imagine there could be a time in the near-distant future where you will be able to check out a post on Instagram of what's in their fridge that you can roll by and get.

Yes. I keep telling everyone I had nose surgery a few weeks ago, but really I had my firmware upgraded. The engineers did a good job masking it, I think.

What happens if you end up not picking up your beer? I know with Threes they simply credit your card back.

I'm too lazy to cook breakfast during the week. Maybe I'll put some Sawce in my smoothie

I wasn't able to make it in time to pick up my order yesterday but Chris at @Sixpoint was kind enough to hold onto it for me to pick up today. They're super accommodating so I'd imagine they'll reach out before refunding you.

Yes, super customer service, not sure if they proactively reach out to people who don’t pick up, but I am sure @Sixpoint will jump in here.

I'll jump in here, JR. They definitely reach out. Chris @Sixpoint will email you if you miss the pickup window. He did it to me. Turns out that I already picked up the cans, but I did think about going back to pick up more...

Drank my third can on the beach earlier. Stellar beer. I hope this makes its way into the rotation on a regular basis.
