I think because they will be dropping cans today instead of tomorrow, the rest of the cans will be sold from behind the bar, but normally they release from a warehouse down the street. Growlers are always from the bar unfortunately.

The last Friday release there was a steady/longish line but that was because they were understaffed due to a mobile release the following day. They were selling cans out of the smaller door on Smith and not the big open area that they normally sell from on Center. They also only had 2 POS that day if I remember correctly. My guess is there will definitely be a large turnout when they open at 12, but it'll probably be more in line with what we are used to for Saturday releases. First hour or so there will be a line, show up around 1:30/2 and there will probably be no line and most if not all the beers still available. Just a guess obviously.

This thread has me cracking up this morning LOL. The guy is asking about his 19 year old son and we're using the term "child" and talking about happy meals for him  And we were worried that this forum wouldn't be the same when there was more beer being produced.

I thought the release was at 1030am today? I cannot tell for sure since I cannot access their IG post.

The Release is 12pm. I'm ready to go just wondering how long of a line to expect. Want the Citra and Galaxy so probably will get there close to open.

Until we figure out exactly how much we're supposed to tip when buying cans, we'll always have stuff to argue about.

I'm telling you that I tipped a couple dollars on the iPad and the seller took it off, said thanks but he wished that wasn't an option. True story and that's all I need to know.

I've seen the same thing. I'm sure they appreciate it if you choose to do it, but it is far from expected at least from what I have seen.

Omg do you think Other Half is reading this thread and addressing all our complaints? First it produces more beer, does weekday releases to cater to locals, and now they're training employees to remove the tip on can purchases?

How dare they take away all our topics of complaints

Reaching the front of the line now. Still appears to be on Garnet. Will report back with supplies once I grab my cans.

Edit: just sold out of Forever Simcoe. Plenty of everything else, as per Cam.

I’m willing to shell out a little more for a 4 pack now and then, but for the love of everything holy, allow me to properly dry my hands after using an OH bathroom.
