Last night my cousin put half of a lemon in the Double Cream get the honey I poured for him. My initial instinct was to yell as loud as possible, but I acted like a grown up instead.

Last update as we pull out of the city tomorrow...for what it is worth, is seems that a 19 year old can get served pretty much everywhere in the city when he is with his 47 year old father. The kid was never carded and got served everywhere he ordered a beer. But like I said earlier, it's not like he was out with a bunch of other kids and we only had a couple anyplace we went, with food. Pretty much what I would expect in the city. Great weekend and lots of fun places that I had not been to before.

I don’t care about them being unique, I would be happier to have them then not.

Stupid question I should know the answer to: can you bring food into the bar? Don't think I've ever seen anyone doing it.

Was going to suggest placing this info in the OP, then saw it was already there. Preciate it.

While the TDH TCDD sounds really dope, I really wish they'd drop some lighter stuff cause I don't want to drink 10% milkshake beers in the heat. African Queen + Mosaic sounds really good though, almost tempted to line up for this one.

Got a couple of very dumb keg questions.

I found the link on the site to get on the list. Once that’s done are you guaranteed to get whatever you want, or do they cap / sell out?

I take it they charge a deposit for the keg?

What’s the most basic stuff I need to drink from a keg (this will be a one and done / occasional outdoor thing - so looking for total bare bones vs any sort of complicated home bar set up)?

When’s the party and what should I wear?

From my college days, I know you’ll need a tap and a large vessel like a trash can or ice bin to fill with ice and then set the keg in. That should have you covered.

I know some stores that sell kegs will rent you the tap with a deposit, not sure if OH does that.

If you are thinking of making this a regular thing it might be worth throwing down a little bit for something slightly nicer than a hand pump and a trash can of ice.

If you use a hand pump you basically have to drink the whole keg at once since you're using O2 to serve it so you're oxidizing the beer.

Did you get a response? I filled that out about a party and never heard back.
