Hmmm Garden of Weeden is DDH Simcoe... I wonder if any other brewery has done that before, but that sounds delish, if Green Rest is anything to go by.

Broken Heroes, Garden of Weeden and Strawberry Parfait Available This Afternoon In Berkeley!




Hello Friends,

It's a big canning day for us in advance of the holiday weekend and we have some fun new beers to share with you including bottles of our next barrel aged sour beer.

Special Release cans of Broken Heroes, Garden of Weeden and Strawberry Parfait are available today in Berkeley after 3 pm and tonight in Napa after the delivery truck makes it's way through traffic. All three releases will be available tomorrow in Monterey (12 pm) and Sacramento and San Mateo (11 am). Limits will be determined based on turnout at each location. Growler fills will be available. Limit one fill person, per day. No Crowler fills will be available. Come by and pick up some cans at one of our Taprooms for the holiday weekend!

PSA for Saturday 5/26: We will be opening the Berkeley Taproom at 10 am for the release of Beware The Savage Jaw and Scream Citra Scream. We will be closing the Berkeley Taproom at 3 pm to celebrate the marriage of John and Sarah. John is our Brewery Manager and has been with us since the early days. Sarah's baked birthday treats are legendary. Anyway, we apologize in advance for any inconvenience caused by our closing for the afternoon to party it up at the brewery with these two wonderful people. These two releases will be available beginning at 10 am in Berkeley, Napa, Sacramento & San Mateo/12 pm in Monterey. Limits will be determined based on turnout at each location. Growler fills of Beware The Savage Jaw are not available. will be available. Growler fills of Scream Citra Scream will be available. No Crowler fills will be available.

I know I saw this earlier. I wish the arrival time was a little more defined. I’m not necessarily close to a specific Fieldwork, it’s a bit of a drive. But damn, I want me some strawberry Parfait.

 

Do you guys think the cans will last in Berkeley until tomorrow afternoon?

 

Honestly hard to say. I’ve never been to the Berkeley location, but I’d assume they might sell out quicker since it’s the “main” store, along with the fact that cans started to be sold last night.

Strawberry Parfait is tasty! A lot sweeter than the Blackberry Parfait, almost syrupy.

 

damn i was at san mateo at 1145, pairfait sold out! 6 can limit too, bummer

 

just picked up the two ipas in berkeley 1 hour ago.

 

Haven’t tasted Weeden yet but Broken Heroes was pretty good. I normally only pick up one or two cans per beer but I bought 3 of BH based on how much I enjoyed the splash I had.

On another note, All the Pulp started tasting pretty boozy after the first day. I bought 4 but wish I stuck to my usual 2 can self-imposed limit.

 

Went to Sac to try to pick up Strawberry Parfait cans. They were already sold out when I got there at 11:30am. Was able to get a growler fill though. Can’t wait to try it tonight.

 

I was able to get some cans around 1pm today of both IPAs. I think they were both good, but preferred Broken Heroes. Got 3 of each just because they were 6% and 7.1%, as opposed to 8+.

 

Sceam Citra Scream and Broken Heroes are still available in cans as of 1230p Saturday. Strawberry Parfait isnt my favorite of the series, blackberry and raspberry ranked a bit higher for me...but its still decent..Caribbean Queen is just chuggable to a ridiculous extent...

 

how’s the barrel aged sour? no checking yet on untappd, is it not on tap?

Wasn’t on tap in Napa yesterday. Haven’t cracked my bottle yet to report.

 

i really liked it too, thought it was excellent and better than heroes.

also i love that glass!

So many new releases in NORCAL, I can't keep up.....lol... Especially with Temps in Sac hitting over 95 this past holiday weekend. Got a back log of Hazy DIPAs. I bought a 12 pack of Pacifico just to stay hydrated......
