    Fishing around in the big fridge for something non challenging and my non challenge was met . . .

    Hazy, light gold color with white cap that quickly dissipates.

    Aroma of coriander and light spice. Malty grain background, faintest hint of hops.

    Taste brings a taut tartness that opens up mid palate to the grain, coriander, spice and orange. Hops remain muted throughout but orange makes a quick reappearance in the aftertaste where it lingers a bit.

    Good morning and good afternoon BAs! It's staring out to be a nice day here in NW PA - little fog mixed with a little sunshine. The laundry continues from Mrs. Lizard's recent (she got back 2130 Sunday) - the next two loads are sorted and ready to go! Today's New Breakfast Beer:



    Drinkable but not recommended unless you like over-carbonated watery rye barrel-aged stouts sans any hint of rye or barrel.

    Another crushingly hot day calls for something refreshing. This does the trick, Rozpusta #2 by Mikkeller, a Berliner weisse brewed with grapes. Just saw Solo the right way. 279 seats in the theatre, just me and one other guy there! Now for some Doctor Strange!

    If you are familiar with my posts, you know that I am a fan of Flying Fish's bigger offerings (Exit 3, Exit 4, Exit 16) and was excited to try this if/when it dropped in my area. However, your succinct comment will divert my spending to other lofty pursuits...hopefully you didn't purchase too much.

    Thanks for your thoughts on this one!

    This is Ichor, a single hop Mosaic DIPA by O/O Brewing from Gothenburg. As @GreenBayBA knows, there is such a thing as the Gothenburg sounds, well, this is the Gothenburg TASTE, delicious!

    As for what's inside, it's a great stout. Tons of chocolate and marshmallow! However, I am getting an insane bitterness on the aftertaste, which is a bit off-putting. Cheers!

    Beer #2 is a local rye IPA. Surprisingly good, especially since its from a micro brewery in a middle of nowhere in Ukraine. Cheers!
