What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #2047

With another overnight in the books and without much more than a couple of hours of genuine sleep, I am rewarding myself with a couple of my all-time favorites. As a matter of fact, I would be happy with these for the remainder of my days. Damn to the drawing power of variety in the craft beer industry!

From bottle to coaster, it is clear that Duvel (in any form) is something I cannot live without.

Freshness:

...still working on my last couple of 4-Packs and still tasting wonderful despite being 5 months since its release from the Duvel-Moortgat cellars.

Like Duvel, I love this beer to the same degree...glass, and custom coaster is a must for this level of obsession (branded bottle opener, not in camera view). Now, only if I can get to sample the BBA version that is filtering about on draught...

Freshness:

Just over 3-months fresh and it is magnificent.

Left over from yesterdays picnic Kane Sneak Box APA a fine hazy APA.

 

It's not quite beer o'clock, so I'll start off with the lowest alcohol beer in the fridge.

Also I heard after 40 you lose your sense of balance. Can no longer stand on one leg with out falling over...

Beers #3,4,5: another local macro-ish Baltic porter, an Imperial brown ale from Estonia (awesome beer btw), and another Ukrainian macro lager (definitely the worst of what I had over my 3 weeks here). Sightseeing is winding down today...fish tacos and beer at a marina on Lake George - Common Roots “Daylight” a DIPA:



Fantastic beer! Citrus and tropical fruit. Plenty of grapefruit pineapple passion fruit. Lite bitter slightly dank. And easy drinking, clean, filtered delish.
