Good morning BA, have a great Sunday! Not much going on, another normal Sunday with bottle returns, laundry, and a grocery run later on.

Glad this is back again. Fantastic DIPA! Amazing head retention and lasting thick lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, citrus peel/rind, pepper, and pine hops; with moderate toasted biscuit, light honeyed malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Moderate increasing resin dryness, minimal hop astringency. Pretty aggressive, but easy drinking. Minimal warming 9.4%. Awesomely dank and vibrant Simcoe/Amarillo hop complexity; nice malt backbone, with minimal residual sweetness. Not as amazing as I remember when I first had it, but still really outstanding classic hopped DIPA. Will get more.

This was fantastic. Great head retention and soapy lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, nutty medium roasted coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, bourbon, rum, toasted oak, biscuit, and dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of coconut, marshmallow, fudge brownie, molasses, licorice, smoke, char, dark fruit, and herbal hops. Increasing booze in the aromas as it warms, but not too overwhelming. Light herbal/roast/char bitterness and bourbon/rum/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and full body; very creamy, silky, velvety, and rich mouthfeel that is fantastic. Light sticky hops, chalky roast, and oak tannins. Lightly increasing lingering bitter/tannin dryness. No acrid/astringent flavors. Very smooth sipping. Mildly increasing warmth of 11.7%, with minimal barrel booziness. Not as amazing as the other variants, but still impressive. The coffee and coconut are really lacking. Feels a bit more heavy on the barrel presence(especially rum), but not overwhelming. Worth a look. 4.25

Instant new favorite album for the year. I've been listening to this for a full 24 hours. I felt the last album had too much Doom metal influence going on; but this is back to the old school Opeth-ish vibe they had going on with earlier albums. Tasteful mix of harsh/clean vocals. So amazing.

Next: tasty juice from Lervig. One of the best European IPA's I have had so far.

Amazing NEIPA! Aromas and flavors of huge tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, lemon zest, orange peel, and light pepper/pine hops; with balanced honey, wheat, toasted bread, light caramel malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; very creamy/bready malt mouthfeel; some sticky hops and slight resins. Slightly increasing lingering bitter dryness, never astringent. Glad they finally brought this back. Used to be Boxer, but some legal crap made them change the name. I prefer it over M43 a bit. More malty from the Vienna/Munich malts; and also prefer the hop profile more because of Equinox/Mosaic additions. ON is making the best NEIPAs in the state, I have a ton in the fridge right now. Can't go wrong with any of them. Hoping to get some Greenstone this week, already got a single of Full Earth to review(the new DIPA).

Good amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; balanced bready malts and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing resin dryness, no hop astringency. Dangerously smooth for 9%, not overly aggressive. Amazingly vibrant, dank, and juicy hops complexity; solid malt backbone, with minimal residual sweetness. Spot on Chinook, Centennial, Simcoe, Cascade, Citra hop profile. Can't go wrong with any of that stuff.

    This one . . .

A medium golden color with a good deal more white cap than I usually get from a wheat ale.

Aroma of soft malt with some citrus touches. A mild sort of scent but a pleasant one.

Taste is soft malt at first followed by a dryish sort of citrus. Not tart and not sweet, rather nicely balanced in between. I get a definite hop hit in the back of the palate that lingers in the aftertaste.

Good morning/afternoon BAs! Starting the day with what will be a NBS cross-post, once I finish the review:

Hope it's better than the 2017 version.

At the moment, Guinness West Indies porter in the Dublin airport waiting on our flight back to the States. Honestly, I'd rather stay here.

Good morning BAs! Beautiful day in the Finger Lakes. Mrs. Z wants to do the Cayuga Wine Trail/Brunch event today, but first some breakfast coffee courtesy of @SawDog505 :

Awesome breakfast stout - Thanks man!

Only one of the 15 wineries today has a tap room, and the drive looks lengthy,so it may be awhile before I reappear. Have a great Sunday y’all!

Hey Doctor, how are you enjoying Central NY ? Have you had any Monty Python's Holy Grail Ale, from Syracuse ? I just got this postcard in the mail yesterday from my daughter in St. Pete. Some actual beer in the mail would have been better  , but nice to know she's thinking of me.

Any fans of The Dillards ?

    "Dooley slippin' up the holler
Dooley try to make a dollar
    Dooley give me a swaller
And I'll pay you back someday."

I don't think that Dooley ever brewed any porter. But I am enjoying some Dooley's Belated Porter, nonetheless, and hearing that old tune in my head.

Just hanging on a beautiful morning in Albany NY, while waiting for my wife to get herself up and moving. We are heading up to our camp this morning and staying there through tomorrow. Maybe an Adirondack beer-by-the-lake post from me, this evening. Happy June, everyone.
