now officially sold out :-( ...oh well, at least it saves my wallet some money and means i dont have to make a trip to anaheim this month.

 

Weird, refreshed a few seconds after 12 and still showed not for sale yet. Then quickly unavailable, lucky got 2 after the cart drop.

 

My quantity tab went from 3 to 1 when I first got in. Sucks but at least I still got the 1.

 

Nada for me. At least I saved my monies

 

Anyone know what the next release will be?! It's been like, forever, since the last sale...

only got 8 bottles, so close to 11, maybe next time.

 

10 bottles between the wife and I. We cracked the bonus bottle code (finally got one!) and we're both in the AoE, so we were able to get 5 each. Never had such a high allotment before.

 

How do these people get so many bottles ? Both me and my wife had them in my cart went to check out and it said they are gone and we both got shut out again.
I really think they should just go to a lottery as that way the same people won't get 10 bottles and other people get nothing

We got 10 bottles because we both cracked the secret code for the bonus bottles, as well as getting the Academy of Exploration (Week of Logic attendees) bottles. Those are 4 bottles that we purchased days before the sale even started, and were allotted by Bottle Logic specifically for those purposes. They have no effect on your chances in the public sale.

As for the last 6 bottles, we each got lucky with a full 3 bottle allotment in the public sale. Just like many other people got lucky. It could have easily gone the other way for us and gotten shut out. It all comes down to a fast internet connection and an even faster trigger finger. Not everyone's gonna win every time. I've missed a couple myself, specifically Number Crunch and Mxyzptlk. Next year, I'd strongly suggest going to Week of Logic if you want to have access to a guaranteed bottle, and you're also more than welcome to try for the secret code bottles as well.

 

If you’re in AoE AND crack the code for a second bottle, it wouldn’t the worst thing in the world if that made you ineligible for public sale. And this is coming from someone who got bottles.

Even though the system BL put in place wasn’t violated, getting 10 bottles is a little absurd.

 

I hear where you're coming from, but what's the incentive in spending all that money at WOL and going through the effort of cracking the code if you then can't participate in the public sale? WOL bottles and code bottles are intended as "prizes" for those who go the extra mile, I don't think it's a bad thing to reward the effort. These bottles are already put aside by BL, no matter who scores them. They have absolutely zero impact on anyone's ability to score bottles in the public sale and do not detract from anyone's chance of scoring an allotment.

 

What codes? Where are these secret egg codes?

 

I suppose it is what it is to them however, I am in agreement with you. 10 bottles between 2 people? Hrm let's see. 2 to drink fresh (1 each), 2 to stash 1 to cook? (possible if they cook w/beer if so then 2) 1 for later (special occasion) that's 7 or 8 at most then 2 leftover for trade or sale. this is speculation but i'd say 4-5 at most are for trade. Just a thought.

If two people want to spend nearly $250 on ten bottles of beer, well, good for them.

 

Why bother with the Easter egg codes at all then? You’d end up with more bottles by skipping the code and acquiring during the public sale.

I got a bottle, plus our two WoL guarantees. I'm fairly happy with that. Kind of wanted more, but at this point, 3 bottles is plenty for us (we still have tons of bottles from last year).

For those in the Eventbrite push, never give up. I got my full allotment of RFI at like, 12:08. Unavailable does not mean sold out. All I can say is persevere.

Anyway, a friend told us that Space Trace was is tasting not good. So, we cracked one. I'm not getting much coconut or cacao anymore. And it was kind of fruity at the end.... Hmm...

 

My brother's boss's cousin will be coming through LA on a cruise liner sometime in early 2020, does anyone know what releases may be available at Bottle Logic for him to bring back here to Uzbekistan? He won't have a car.

 

I heard BL, 3 Sons, Cycle and TG all did a collab of Kentucky Fundamental Scoop Brand Stout. Limit is one 50ml vile filled in the parking lot by my aunt's cousin's brother.

 

He should bring bottles of his local hazy goat milk for IP trades, especially if he has any limited variants.
