Sand City Brewing (2018)

I still have more cans to "unload", so the subsequent posts on how great this beer is are only going to get better and better.

 

Wish I had noticed they released it. The first time I had that beer was equivalent to the first time I heard the Beatles.

 

Oh and Double Drifter is pretty good. A little too sweet for me but I can see the juice lovers enjoying it. To me the hop combination didn’t do enough to overcome the additional malt. Definitely a good beer though.

Oops! Guava could be all time.

Edit: hop combination in the different hops used, not the level of hops because its pretty hoppy.

Burning Down The House available today. Damn they are pumping beer out! Definitely grabbing some tomorrow.

So here is a noob question. Drinking a Sand City/Barrier Collab called Watch the Throne. I’m anal about dates so I look underneath and along with the date find “sayings”.

On the bottom of “watch the throne” , there’s the date canned and the words, “What she order?” Any idea why? I’ve seen this on other cans too. Just curious.

 

It’s from a song off the Jay-Z/Kanye album “Watch The Throne”. What she order? Fish filet.

 

So wait, drinking a Nautigirl IPA from GSB right now and its says “Are you Nauti Buoy” underneath... just random sayings under the cans?

 

Ig looks like there was a quiet release of beachglass today and one other can (can list wasn’t posted that I saw, just tap list). I can’t make out the other can, just that it’s one of the “artwork” ones like close talker and soup, it looks like a girl with long braids?

 

What are the odds of cans when I make a trip to The Island this Friday night?

 

I hope this is a permanent thing, for ongoing relations with the town and ease of acquiring the beer.
