I’ve also got 1 extra ticket from the 4 that I bought for the evening session that I’ll sell at a discount. Will throw in a couple fresh Treehouse brews - brought home a suitcase full from a brewery visit last week.

What do those heathens know about sophisticated craft beer?

 

Not to turn this thread in a different direction... as a city, Colorado Springs shits all over Greeley, and Denver for that matter. But hey, enjoy your gridlocked traffic and cow shit smells.

 

I was referring to Jason yester calling out Colorado springs beer drinkers for not being sophisticated enough for his beer. Also, having been born and raised in Colorado springs, I can attest that it shits on pueblo, but certainly not Denver.

 

We don't mention Jason down here lol we don't want him. To each his own though, you couldn't pay me enough to move to live in Denver, I hate that city.

 

Funny thing about Greeley, I've been there at least 20 times since Weldwerks opened, and I rarely ever smell the cows. Then again, I grew up in Loveland, and I've spent time in some pretty rural areas, so maybe I'm just more used to it? I'd rather smell that then sulfur from whatever refinery is near the old Stapleton area.

And yeah when we talk about CS beer we pretend that Trinity doesn't exist.

 

It's easier to digest the smell while drinking world-class beers across the gamut of styles at Weldwerks

I wasn't raised here but live in the Springs now and the distaste for Trinity is palpable everywhere lol. The few Jason stories I've heard are not good or even close to being something I want to support. I still haven't bellied up to the bar at that brewery.

Drank the Nutty Buddy stout and it is on point, way closer than the Oatmeal Creme Pie.

 

This pour list is getting insane. Medianoche Variants, Assassin, FO Brewer’s Reserve, BA Abraxas... being one of the 9 beer nerds in Winnipeg, coming from a market that makes Fargo ND look like San Diego, this fest is going to be amazing!

I bought 4 tickets to the afternoon sesh and due to a conflict (2 buddies are launching their new brewery that weekend), only 2 of us are making the pilgrimage, so I’m going to join the small group of folks offering 2 tickets for sale. I’ll take a discount on them, and would be happy to toss in a couple Canadian brews at the fest. Cheers.

Any idea how many tickets were made available for this festival? I'm stunned that it's not sold out given the tap list. I thought I heard somewhere that the ticket cap was pretty low to essentially assure no major lines... not sure where I heard that or if I just made it up.
