Best beer stores in Florida

    Looking to make it down there eventually, just wondering where I can get the best prices on stuff. A good selection would be fantastic too. Mostly interested in Funky Buddha and Cigar City stuff.

    Do FB and CC have decent bottle pricing at their breweries? Most don't but I figured I would check anyways.

    I will likely be all up and down on both the gulf side and Atlanic side as well as the panhandle. Checking the whole state out except inland. Mostly coastal, probably St Pete/Sarasota, st Augustine/Jax, Stuart, boca, Daytona Pensacola.

    Anything CCB and FB distribute tends to sit on any shelf at Total Wine or ABC these days even seasonals and barrel aged. CCB hasn’t distributed a barrel aged beer I think ever though. At the brewery the prices are the same as in the stores and the breweries will occasionally have stuff that isn’t distributed.

    This thread is of interest to me, as I, too, plan on visiting Florida soon--and possibly moving there within a few years.

    Craft Beer Cellar in Brandon looks like one of the best.

    It's inland, but for other users reading like HorseheadsHophead, Knightly Spirits of Orange Blossom Trail near Orlando has a great selection and good prices. I was able to get a lot of things there that I couldn't find at ABC or Total Wine & More.

    Might any of you BA'ers know where I can still find 4 packs of FB's Last Snow? It's gotta be dwindling down now out of season and finding stores that have it will be hard. Just FYI we will be ALL OVER Florida so just shout out a store and town if you know it, it's likely we'll be within a half hour of there or so.

    I was just at the (newly remodeled) Aardvark in Orlando yesterday and they had 3-4 4 packs. Possibly more in back. Just down the road on orange av, there's a newly remodeled ABC you might want to stop at as well. If you want to venture down orange, you could always hit the Gnarly Barley for some brisket tacos too.

    If you swing through gainesville, check out crafty bastards. They've got great prices and a great selection. They're not far off 75 if you're headed south. And look into Swamp Head brewery and First Magnitude. Good stuff.

    Not exactly a "beer store" but Dunderbak's in Tampa has an incredible selection of bottles to go. 3F, Cantillon, vintage Fantome, you name it.

    Found lots of great beer but not that one.

    Just crossed over to the Atlantic Coast today. No fresh Jai either :slight_frown:

    Oh, update. Found a bunch at FB. I figured they would be gone but they have tons. Rum barrel Pina Colada released today too. Delish.

    In Tallahassee it is the Quick N Save gas station on Tennessee Street. I am not making this up. Best selection on I-10.
