Yes, quite tasty. Nice use of passion fruit, doesn’t overpower.

Just wanted to let everyone know that we're canning up Galaxy Four Seam on Wednesday along with a small amount of Emelyn. Emelyn will be tap room only as we are going to see what the demand for this is. A small amount of Galaxy Four Seam will see distribution and it is tasting pretty dope out of the brite. Dare I say it, better than the first release of it.

I have no idea on how long these tend to stick around. Good chance this lasts until Saturday?

So the only reason you'd go if it's a once-per-year thing?

If I could wait until fall or something and save some money right now I would prefer that, but sometimes you go a little over budget if that means waiting for a year for a beer I've never had.

It was last released in January. I don't have any insight on when it will be next released, but I'd bet that you won't have to wait a year for it.

That seems reasonable to me. Especially since you won't even have to wait in a line

The owner might very well chime in here himself but I don't believe it is released that infrequently. Unless my memory is off I think it was last released well less than 6 months ago.

The plan we announced at the beginning of the year was to brew/can Six Seam 4 times a year; Jan, Apr, Jul, Oct. Cans are coming off the line as we speak.

If you plan on coming out, please respect our neighbors and don't park in their lots (they will tow you). There is a free public lot at the corner of Charles and Pearl... an easy 3 minute walk to our brewery.

We'll have The Porch in at 5pm to provide some tasty BBQ to nosh on why you drink some Six Seam.

1 case pp is the limit w/ this run.

To our loyal consumers, I know this is going to look weird shining the spotlight on two IPAs in a row, BUT we just so happen to have another one that we are releasing this week that I'm actually quite excited to share with you.

To shed some light on our uncharacteristic excitement over our most recent hop forward beer; I introduce to you, Change Up #12. This time we decided to take a different approach to our adjunct grains (wheat/rye/spelt/corn). While our Seam series of IPAs balances flaked and malted adjuncts, we've decided this round to lean towards the flaked side, specifically oats. Ever have oatmeal for breakfast? That's the same thing that makes up roughly 20% of the grist of our 7.0% Oat IPA. Providing a hefty dose of protein to our future beer, creating super charged body and mouthfeel, without the sweetness of heavy bodied beers that are derived from residual complex sugars. From there, we decided to take a hop that's been a workhorse for us in so many of our hoppy offerings and put it on display front and center; Centennial. An old school staple hop to so many great IPAs like Firestone Walker's Union Jack, Bell's Two Hearted, Maine Beer Co's Lunch, Russian River's Pliny the Elder and many more. With just a touch of Columbus added to the boil, then we hit this beer hard with Centennial in the kettle and twice more for dry-hopping. Presented as a hazy IPA, known for body, smooth bitterness and massive flavors.

The aroma hits you right away with candied lemon peel, grapefruit rind and fresh cut grass. It sips with bold notes of lime peel up front followed by light hints of pine and grass on the back end of the palate. Perfect for drinking under the sun on a patio or porch. Change Up #12 would pair beautifully with a lobster roll dinner, or a snack of crackers topped with goat cheese and wildflower honey. Kegs are going out this week so keep an eye out for it or ask for it at your favorite pub! We'll be releasing it later this week for pints and Freshies to take home in the Taproom! Cheers! -- Lead Brewer Brett Bauer

Best Four Seam ever. @ctkach says they've been tweaking the recipe, and it shows. Nice job on that. Kudos.

And the Blanche de Grâce and Emelyn are both excellent, as well. I've spent the weekend doing yard work and hosting a graduation party in the backyard with a cooler full of Idle Hands. Later tonight I'm sure the bug bites will be miserable but, at the moment, I'm feeling no pain.

For those hop thirsty fans... Six Seam is being canned as we speak. We were only able to brew 1/2 the amount we did in April so none of this batch will be making it out to retail.

We also canned Edgeworth and Dom's Sausage will be serving up their tasty steak tips starting at 6pm. Doors open at 3pm for those who can't wait.
