Define "normal" beer. I'd love to hear more about your experiences, they are kind of light on details

As someone who works and drinks in the area, Detroit, downtown included, has plenty of places that serve Labatts. We are a border city and a hockey town, I see labatt on tap all over town

I like how this post is quoting your previous post. People usually keep their negative self-judgements as strictly internal dialogue.:wink:

Despite being incredibly good looking - and very funny to boot - you're an absolute tool dude

I do not consider myself a beer snob. I do consider myself a very knowledgeable beer consumer. I like to try, research, discuss and consume many various beers and beer styles. To some, including some close friends and family, that makes me a beer snob. I've never tried to convince anyone to give a brand of beer or chastise them for drinking said beer. I have offered or suggested alternatives to them. I feel I must be engaged by a like mind before I go into beer talk mode. Otherwise I could easily come off as preachy or snobby.
Oh, and if you don't like it, go suck on your Coor's Light, asshole.

There's still Big Beer snobs out there. My former brother-in-law won't touch anything besides Bud, he always says it's the king of beers, everything else is crap. If he can't have his Bud then he won't have anything.

My late brother-in-law was the same way yet he had no qualms about grabbing the most expensive looking bottle of whisky in my cabinet.

I think a lot of people have allegiances to their favorite macros. Hell way back in the day I touted how great Bud Light was in comparison to the horrors of Coors Light and Miller Lite.

(Of the three I'd take Miller Lite now)

Buy what you like, if there is nothing at a bar you like, drink tonic or leave, it's your dime. I don't understand how beards and tattoos are an influence in what someone drinks.

While I agree it is very rare for folks to have any sort of critical self-awareness, on the internet or in life, not sure the post you quoted was inner-directed commentary.

I was just kidding. @moshea was aiming that at the OP but quoted himself as a follow up. It had me confused for a split second though.

Quite the snowflaky OP. I have yet to see what has been described but have often times seen patrons get in a tizzy when they can't get their Bud Light. Happens almost weekly at a local spot that literally has "High Gravity Tavern" in the name.
