What beer are you drinking now? #2060

Omnipollo Pleroma. This is fantastic! Aromas and flavors of big juicy/tart/tangy raspberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, peach, grapefruit, green apple, white grape, hay, straw, herbal, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, and bread; with light notes of pepper, musty/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang; light herbal bitterness, and yeast spiciness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; creamy/bready malt/lactose; with a fair amount of lactic acid and fruit tang/tannins in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing lactic/tangy/tannic dryness; zero pucker or astringency. Refreshingly smooth, 6%. Amazing authentic jammy raspberry presence with balanced Lacto complexity; and nice malty/lactose backbone. Never overly acidic or sweet either way, making this super drinkable.


Amazing as usual this year. Aromas and flavors of huge mango, melon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, guava, berry, grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, and pine hops; with moderate honey and spicy rye bread malt balance; and herbal, floral, grassy hops earthiness. Good sized pine, citrus rind, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium-plus bodied with balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky/resin/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Moderate increasing resin/rind dryness, minimal hop astringency. Very mildly warming ABV, dangerously smooth. Insane dankness across the board. This is basically just imperial Born Yesterday IMO, very similar if not the same hops. Ekuanot, Galaxy, Simcoe, and Mosaic was the first batch, probably similar here. This has all of the same dankness at a much higher ABV, while remaining well attenuated and not overly sweet for over 11.3%. Mosaic and Ekuanot are my favorite hops.

Well since I had to make the 845 mile drive to Washington for family obligations I figured might as well pick up a few Bombers of West Coast Beers that are not available in Montana. Never heard of this Gigantic Brewery out of Portland , Oregon . It is their Pale Ale named Scrilla! They describe it as a Hoppy Pale Ale and they were right. This is a nicely crafted Pale Ale . Well Done! So as Always Cheers to all you other Hop Heads out there ! Life is Good!
