    Interesting thing is that when they introduced Backstrom, the crowd was a bit weather worn (mainly because all water fountains where shut off and the people in front had been there since 5:00am this morning, not me of course I went in to work, and took time off, with a few water bottles, came out just in time before the parade started!), so Ovi was dissapointed, got up and got the crowd going, Backstrom stood up for a while, while the crowd when nuts!

    ps-If you are not a Caps fan, you should be! :wink: :slight_smile::grinning:

    pps-As we have a few Sweeden players, a few Russians, a finland Canadian, a German, an Australian, a few redneck Americans, a few lumberjack Canadians (which we all love!).

    Red Wings for me, man, but I love seeing people win who deserve it, and I think Ovi is the best goal scorer of this generation, and his emotions during the finals, just epic.

    I was in Cleveland this weekend, and the Warrior fans were estatic, not so much the Cleveland fans (they are great people by the way and I hope James stays!).

    One of my best friends is from the heartland and a big Red Wings fan.

    I agree with the Ovi assessment, hopefully he will finally get the recognition he deserves!
