Great day for a drive...Five hours round trip to/from Campbell (west of Corning) NY to pay my respects graveside...my Dad passed 10years ago this month.

River Horse Roly Poly Pilsner, I’ve had this beer bottled many times. This is the first time ever on tap. Nice beer a fine craft Pilsner brewed in NJ.

A variety pak from D.L. Geary's for the evening starting with Geary's Irish Red, a very good true to the style Irish Red. I like this and will buy this again (to compare against my homebrew which I thought was the best in Maine).

Nice even profile with flavors of crisp grain, baked bread, honey twists, and Saaz. Refreshing.

 

Tuesday, good BA peeps, sipping on this home-brewed SMASH IPA, with Golden Promise and DDH Mosaic. Drinking mighty fine on a beautiful New England day.

If there was a Beer Adcocate award for the biggest jerk on WBAYDN last night, I would win in a landslide. Seems I went off the rails last night more than usual.

The list of folks I need to apologize to would require a whole page. But given that it is Tuesday with few pages, that might not be a bad idea!

Anyway, for those I insulted or made to feel uncomfortable, I sincerely apologize. I will try to do better.

But back to beer. @JayWhitson sent me a fantastic beer box on Saturday. So far, every beer I had was awesome. I made the mistake of letting my wife taste this APA. She thought it was fantastic and wanted some more.

It's been raining pretty much since 8pm last night until now, please be over.

 

Happy Tuesday ba. Getting into it with Hazy ipl, from Greenport Harbor. Brewed to support a movement of supporting local and independent businesses. Hoppy/ citrus upfront with a good amount of Pilsner malt on the finish. Not in love with it but it’s decent drinking enough,

 

I was getting gas today and the gas pump asked me if I wanted to follow it on facebook. All I could think of doing was popping open a bottle of Brasserie Lebbe L'Amalthée.
