Transient Mind to Devour DIPA. Absolutely awesome melon and mangos bomb with the perfect amount of onion and garlic darkness. Extremely smooth.

This was a killer beer...I may have to pick up another bottle myself as it was still around a couple of weeks ago in the Springs...

The women have moved out to the back porch, so now it's time to kick up the tempo with beer, bourbon, and one of Texas' finest little ol' bands...sure hate to see the last of this bottle of Van Winkle go, but there is still one in reserve...the beer? Eh, it's decent enough...

You have to take my word for it - Dino Breath DIPA from TailGate Beer. This was an unlabeled can for employees (my son). All Mosaic and tasting nicely.

Not to put this beer on a pedestal...
OK, literally I did, but that’s neither here nor there. This is just a really solid, easy drinker which makes me really glad I bought two 6-packs.

Awesome radler again this year! Lower in ABV at 3.2%. Flavors of big juicy/lightly tart raspberries, fruit skin, lemonade, and citrus peel; with balanced wheat, cracker, biscuit malts; and light herbal hops. Light herbal hop/citrus peel bitterness and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; balanced grainy wheat creaminess and fruit acidity in the mouthfeel. Light hop stickiness and increasing tart/tangy drying. Super refreshing and flavorful. Fairly crisp. Absolutely outstanding for the style. Perfectly balanced fruit and wheat beer character. Never watery or thin feeling. Perfect summer beer. Will definitely get another pack. Hope these don't over carbonate over time, like they did last year. Definitely my go-to summer beer, along with Short's Melt My Brain and other local shandies.

Delicious English brown ale as always. Flavors of big caramel, milk chocolate, cocoa, toffee, brown sugar, toasted oats, nuttiness, and dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of coffee, smoke, dark fruit, and herbal/grassy hops. Similar/muted aromas. Very mild herbal/grassy hop and roast bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; very creamy, silky, bready malt/oat mouthfeel that is fantastic. Slight sticky hops, chalky roast, and increasing dryness. Extremely smooth/drinkable. Very rich and complex for the 5.5%, with a nice sized body. Very well rounded brown ale malt complexity; with restrained fruity yeast and mild earthy hop balance. Will definitely be getting this often as with the rest of their cans so far.

Amazing as always, just got a fresh pack today. Under a month old. Flavors of pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine, peach, lemon/orange zest, citrus rind, light mango, and pine hops; moderate wheat, bread, light honey malt balance; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, zesty, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; balanced creamy/grainy malt and hop stickiness in the mouthfeel. Lightly resinous, with increasing bitter dryness; never astringent. Really well balanced IPA; classic Willamette, Amarillo, and C hop flavors. Always a favorite. Been buying this more than IPA lately, my usual go-to Lagunitas beer in past years.

Fantastic DIPA as usual this year. Aromas and flavors of tangerine, pineapple, orange juice, mango, melon, peach, papaya, passion fruit, lemon zest, orange peel, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate honey, toasted bread, and light caramel malt sweetness; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; very creamy/bready malts and some sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering resin dryness, zero hop astringency. Feels more malty and juicy than last year. Closer to the original batch I reviewed in 2016. Will buy again next year, got 1 left; but coming up on 4 months age.
