Same beer, same can date, different cans, one juicier, one hoppier... I could be going crazy, I dunno, either way a great hazy PA from Spindletap out of Houston. 2nd time having and it’s great and easily crushable, I mean it’s only 5% abv.

All is well on my end hope things are going well with you? Yeah I am trying now to switch up to bourbon every other week and give myself a break!!! I hide mine so my wife has to find it first before she can hide it.

 

Up next Noon Whistle (love these cans) Smack This, a black sour ale. Pretty impressed with this nice balance of chocolate, tart lemon really easy drinking.

It’s a pretty nice night out to grill so I did one rib eye regular and one extra crispy

My grill needs a serious cleaning

If you like grapefruit tasting beer then this is the one for you. It’s not too bad
but I’m not sure I’d like to drink it a lot. It’s grapefruit and not much else except a hint of malt. Medium mouth feel and medium dry finish.

I’m going to hate not seeing these guys this summer.

Excellent keller marzen! Fantastic head retention and thick lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, and light honey/nutty malts; with some mild herbal, grassy, peppery noble hops. Very mild herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; very creamy/bready malt and slight sticky hop in the mouthfeel. Slightly increasing lingering bitter dryness, no cloying sweetness. Perfectly clean lager flavors, no fruitiness. Very drinkable and pretty refreshing for 5.5%. Not overly sweet/malty. This is absolutely spot on stuff all around. Very clean and rich Pils/Munich malt showcase, with mild noble hop balance. Super fresh bottle a friend got me from Germany last week. I loved it. 4.03


Excellent Belgian IPA. Great head retention and thick lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, mango, melon, peppercorn, clove, citrus peel/rind, pine, and light banana/bubblegum yeast; with moderate lightly toasted biscuit, light honey/caramel malts; herbal, floral, grassy hop and yeasty earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy bitterness; and peppery yeast spiciness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body and moderately crisp finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Moderate increasing bitter/spicy dryness, minimal hop astringency. Fairly aggressive, but really drinkable for 6.7%. Really impressive balance of vibrant/dank hops and fruity/spicy yeast; with a nice solid bready malt backbone, with no residual sweetness. Will buy again. They just started canning their beer this month. From Benton Harbor, west side of MI. 4
