Hop Butcher Blazed Orange Milkshake DIPA. This tops regular Blazed Orange as my favorite Hop Butcher beer. Straight up orange dreamsicle. Cheers!

Just drowning my sorrows tonight listening to Joy Division with my almost 14 year old pup.

I am putting her down tomorrow as she is in bad shape with cancer. I got her on my birthday at around 8 weeks old and she has been an amazing dog. Loved by all and so good with all the kids. Have had a bunch of friends come by to say goodbye and it's hard.

Starting with this amazing beer and where it goes next I don't know.

    Enjoy

This beer is so damned smooth it’s not funny. 8.8%. It’s almost too smooth, if that’s possible. A really good beer. Good night all. (Probably)

Great fruit beer! Aromas and flavors of big juicy/lightly tart/tangy raspberry, blueberry, cherry, fruit skin, melon, citrus zest, and red grape/wine; with balanced wheat, cracker, biscuit dough malts; light herbal/grassy hops and yeast earthiness. Light herbal, grassy, citrus peel bitterness; and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation and body; very creamy/bready/grainy malt mouthfeel; fair amount of fruit acidity/tang/tannins, and light sticky hops. Lightly increasing tart/bitter dryness. Very flavorful/refreshing, 5.9%. Absolutely delicious. Awesome jammy berry flavors, with balanced bready malts. Never overly sweet. Glad I got a 6 pack, would do it again easily. Another go-to in my fruit beer lineup.

Still tasting fantastic. Better than I remember this year, I had to redo my entire review. Aromas and flavors of huge bright tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, coconut, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, and pine hops; with some honey, bready malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Good amount of pine, citrus rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body, and moderately crisp finishing. Balanced creamy/grainy malts and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Moderately increasing lingering bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Aggressive, yet smooth drinking. Minimal warming 9.1%. Amazing dank, vibrant, and juicy hop complexity; nice solid pale malt backbone, with no residual sweetness. Short's IPAs always hold up extremely well with a bit of time in my experience. Almost at 6 months now.

So I think this is my official review. If you are sober as a judge this beer is ok. After you have had a few this beer is delightful.
