Next infection I'm going to find a cheap lawyer and settle with GI rather than accept the refund at a loss...

Agreed! What the hell did they think they were going to get? Now they get nothing!

IS this modern day equivalent of ambulance chasing?

    Glad they got nothing. Ridiculous.

Good for GI. It’s crazy they even offered the guys that amount of money in the first place.

I’m amazed to hear of people buying 30+ botttles of something and being so out of touch with what that company/brand is doing. Why do I feel like if GI had announced a new variant to be released in Spring 2016 that those same people would have somehow found a way to be informed of it?

Given that the first label was posted to tenemu, I'm really trying to figure out what the over/under is on the start of the 2018 BCBCS infection thread. Also wondering what the bets will be in terms of MVP and whether we can expect to see some of our favorite players in that thread rooting against the evil empire.

They aren't making coffee this year, beans are too expensive so they are going the cheaper route and making a green pepper BCBS.

Yes, good on the judge and good on GI. I'm willing to bet a '15 BCBS bottle that anyone who purchased 40 bottles of bourbon county came to know about the refund period at some point before the period expired. Imo these were greedy opportunists looking to milk this into a class action lawsuit. And that they turned down the more than reasonable offer from GI to make them whole confirms they are greedy, opportunistic Massholes (again imo).

Is it made with real green pepper or extract? :stuck_out_tongue::wink:

That's pretty sweet. Of course, I just got back from IA instead of my usual Chicago area Father's Day trip. I suppose I'll live.

I am not sure how long it's been since I last took a moment to say this, so i'll say it again.

I hate not living in Chicago sometimes.

    Ya fuckers!

Prop 17 on tap in Downers at Cellar Door. Great way to end my Father’s Day. Cheers to the rest of you!

I'm curious as well. Also, what's with all the 2013 BC being tapped lately? So much 2013 templeton rye and regular.

Take this with a grain of salt.

As a real BC fanboy (admittedly, BC - especially vintage - is my favorite beer): 2013 is (1) tasting amazing right now, (2) there seems to be more than either 2012 or 2014, and (3) 2018 is 5 years after the bottling (ie 2018 is the final "develops in bottle for" year).

I think these 3 things are leading to the recent pop ups of 2013. Just my 2cp.
