Good morning BA, have a great Saturday! Supposed to have some storms out there today.

Awesome tripel as usual. Havent had this in a while. Flavors of big lemon, pear, red apple, apricot, coriander, peppercorn, clove, and light banana/bubblegum yeast; with moderate cracker, white bread, light biscuity malts; herbal, floral, grassy hop and yeasty earthiness. Good sized peppery yeast spiciness and herbal/grassy hop bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body and moderately crisp finishing. Balanced grainy malt and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Moderate increasing bitter/spicy dryness. Very smooth and minmal warming 8.5%. Fairly similar flavor-wise to the old one before 2016, but it is much dryer/spicier on yeast and a bit more bitter on hop flavors. Loved both of the new recipes more than the old ones. Both are more accurate to style now.

4 year revisit. This was my 2500th milestone, just hit 6900 last night. This was amazing. Lasting head retention and thick lacing the whole glass. Aromas and flavors of big dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, molasses, smoke, charcoal, nuttiness, and toasted dark bread; with lighter notes of licorice, raisin, plum, prune, cherry, and herbal/peppery hops. Good sized roast/char and herbal/spicy hop bitterness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation and full body; very creamy/bready malt mouthfeel, with a fair amount of sticky hops and chalky char/roast. Light-moderate increasing hop/char dryness, minimal acrid/astringency. Very smooth, minimal warming 11%. Definitely in the RIS territory on hop/char bitterness right now. Will have to age another one. This is the 2018 vintage. Hope we get the BBA some time, but the Bat Out Of Hell will hold me over for now(mind blowing good). I bought 2 more last week.

This is my post-workout beer. I am in training camp to prepare for dominating the mosh pit at the upcoming Philip H. Anselmo and The Illegals concert in Green Bay, WI. This beer was a special request for @LeperJim to send me. This picture is a collection of prizes from the last 3 of @LeperJim's posting contests. I enjoy collecting items from him.

Awesome NE APA. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate wheat, biscuit dough malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; creamy/bready/grainy malts and some sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness. Spot on soft feel for the style. Refreshingly drinkable. Awesome Mosaic/Citra showcase. Very juicy and lightly dank hop complexity; perfect malt balance, not overly sweet. Probably won't get another pack, I prefer Old Nation Greenstone far more for the same ABV/style.

Fantastic! Aromas and flavors of huge nutty medium roast coffee, milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, vanilla, toffee, coconut, cream, frosting, almonds, cake batter, and toasted dark/brown bread; with light notes of smoke, char, dark fruit, and herbal hops. Light herbal/spicy hop and roast/char bitterness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and fairly full body; very creamy/silky/bready malt mouthfeel; light slickness, sticky hops, and chalky roast. Lightly increasing lingering hop/char dryness. Never acrid/astringent. Mildly increasing warmth of 12.5%. Dangerously smooth. Wow this was really impressive. Super rich malt complexity with great fruity/nutty coffee presence, and some lactose/spices. This tastes exactly like Tiramisu stout but richer, so probably the imperial version. Glad this is widely available.

Amazing band, wish more people knew about them. Only 1600 monthly listeners on Spotify. Progressive death/folk metal or something.

Was a bit sluggish this morning, but I'm back at it. Capped this last night as it was a bit much to finish in one sitting. Tastes just as good on day #2. Cheers all.

Beautiful morning calls for a bracing brew . . .

Medium shade of hazy yellow gold with white cap.

Aroma of bright citrus, lemon, bitter orange zest, pineapple and pine.

Taste is colorful in a citrusy way. A complex if not terribly sophisticated array of citrus essence and tropical fruit resting on a solid malt base. Very nicely done in a way that conveys the essence of these flavors with a refreshingly tart finish touched with pine.

    Medium-full texture with balancing carbonation.

This is outstanding and may be my choice of the Sculpin variations I've had so far. Relatively simple flavors that present harmoniously and like a country breakfast buffet at a good restaurant it's a collection of basic stuff that's well prepared and served up without pretension.

Good morning, BA! We are headed to Funky Buddha today and I'm starting off the day right with some Lucky Lucy from Pair O' Dice out of Clearwater, FL.

Nice strawberry and thyme notes in the nose although they are faint, and the flavors are strawberry tops, toasted grains, and slight milk sugar. It's not explosively tasty, but on a humid, hot day, this beer is near perfect. It'll slay most pilsners and IPA's in this situation, and from the can, it looks like that's exactly the target they were aiming for. 3.93 out of 5.

At first I didn't like that beer, but then I realized it was basically like a chcoolate covered Belgian Red, and once I got into that mindset, it has been fantastic!

New beer for me. I had batch #30 a little while ago, and loved it. So, I picked up this batch #29, which is aged in bourbon. I like bourbon, and I like beer. Easy choice. I don't think I have smelled many beers with so much bourbon on the nose. It's incredible. Mind blowing stuff. Cheers!

Drinking a delicious ipa at glorious Sore Thumb on the South Shore of Long Island. Water’s about 62-63 degrees, just the way I like it. Cheers to a beautiful day.

Cherry is so strong on it that I forget it's a stout. Almost thought it was spoiled or something. It's damn tasty.
