At WOL, I thought FO was not even close to being ready. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was at the end of summer.

Regardless of whether FO is coming next month with it, Fundamental Beer Geek has gotta be on the schedule to drop next. It's been more than a year since they brewed it, and that was one of the few beers that tasted totally ready to me at WOL. They even brought it to MBCC last month. Something tells me BL wouldn't take an unfinished beer to a festival, only the final product. Why they would sit on it for the past few months, I'm not sure (maybe to line up with the release of FOb4?) but I'll eat my hat if that doesn't come next.

They’ll probably do with Beer Geek what they did with Number Crunch. Release it staggered with FO, just more limited/ Level 2.

I was at the tasting room and overheard someone ask a bartender the next release. The bartender responded that he knew, and then after second said he thinks he knows the next two releases. I took what he said as FO would be the second release and something random coming up next. This is strictly rumors.
FYI, last year fo was released July 15.

I have said this before, but I stand by this: I don’t think Beer Geek is getting bottled. I bet it’s going to be their festival special beer for the rest of the year. Which I’m totally happy with; I’m enjoying having a few taproom or festival exclusives!

Cracked open Space Trace b2. Tasting terrible, faint aroma of bourbon. Taste is a sharp and bitter. No fudge or coconut like taste from a few weeks ago.

*Edit* Low carbonation hiss in still coming from the pour and bottle itself.

    Shake, Rattle, & Roll
This Bourbon Barrel Aged American Strong Ale was inspired by the summery nostalgia of Neapolitan milkshakes. Sticky-sweet soda shop flavors of chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla swirl through a base of malted milk sugars to finish this creamy secret-menu sensation.

    Something to Smile About
The flavors of Rocky Road are a long-standing testament to the perseverance of the human spirit. This American Strong Ale was aged in Bourbon Barrels before journeying through hundreds of pounds of toasted almonds, rich cacao nibs, and marshmallowy Madagascar vanilla.

This release does sound good, but I may skip it to keep my wallet light and avoid another trip down there.
My Guess if FO will be mid to late July, probably with the eventbrite on July 15 and pick ups a week later.

Wow, so 3 strong ales so far this year? Maybe just stick to the basics.

For real though: why? Because calling a beer a stout makes it sell out in 12 minutes as opposed to selling out in 30? I for one appreciate that the Stasis project beers are a diversity of styles, as opposed to just being whatever happens to be the most hyped thing that year!

Completely agree. A brewer/brewery can create whatever they want, and luckily for us everything they make is top notch. ...If everything was a stout, people would complain about not being diverse enough.

Yeah I'm one who is glad not every release is a stout. I enjoy their different styles on Stasis releases. The Non-BA stouts create less hype on the release/sale/pickup too which makes it a more enjoyable experiences. It definitely hurts those who count on the Stasis BA stouts for trade value though.

Shake Rattle and Roll has been up in the tasting room for a bit. It was up under that same name during both Staff of Asir and Ground State pickups and was served at The Bruery anniversary too.

EDIT: At WOL they were Cahokia Cacao & Cahokia Berry

BL x Mikkeller Collab that was on tap during Week of Logic. Guessing Beer Geek Breakfast treatment on FO base. It was awesome.
