This stuff is just excellent.

 

Something amber seems appropriate this morning . . .



Clear red gold color with light color cap.

Clean aroma that's mostly malty with a hint of something darkish and sweet like cherry cola.

Nice low key flowing malt rich flavor that offers a hint of roasted malt without any roasty bitterness or roast malt elements like coffee. Just a smooth darkness linked to the malt richness.

Medium texture with balancing carbonation.

A good hit but not a home run, it's decent and enjoyable but not memorable.

 

If my local store charges me $16.99 for a 750ml bottle of Curieux, and they charge the same price for four 12 ounce bottles, I'd be foolish not to drink a lot of it, right?

Yo yo. Had to try this at least once. It’s slightly better than other brand with a similar name, but once was enough for me. There are much better options out there


This dark lager is a thing of beauty


Not really sure what style of beer this is. Not knowing that, it reminded me of a mix between a Dubbel and APA (I’m sure it’s a fairly obvious style that I’m just not seeing lol). Good stuff
