Not sure if this is the right area. My wife and I are going to Wilmington Saturday June 23. Suggestions? Only there 1 night.

Delaware has some good breweries down south, but for the most part Wilmington is still quite young in the craft beer scene. So, this should be taken with a grain of salt:

Iron Hill has a good track record and has been around awhile. I visited the Philly pub about a year ago during a pub run, and they had some pretty good brews on tap. They rotate their beers rather quickly, but what we had was tasty. Food wise we enjoyed some good appetizers, but no idea about the full menu.

This past weekend, my wife and I visited Bellefonte, a few miles southeast of Wilmington. The place was pretty busy, and we each got a flight (me the IPA's). The beer was good, nothing jumped out as a must-have.. but it wasn't bad. My only true complaint was, the beer was a little on the warm side after a few minutes (it was pretty muggy out), so the malts were fairly prevalent. No food, nor any idea about a food truck.

I've heard good things about 2 Stones, but they are a bit further south towards Newark.

Sorry if I'm not much help.. we are just getting our feet wet here as well (we moved from lower slower Delaware late 2016. Hope you have a good time!

Two Stones is your best bet for good selection, there are 3 locations not too far from Wilmington. Food is good at all locations. Stick House isn’t bad beer wise and I hear the food is good. Bellefonte has some solid beers, but only do food trucks if you are looking for food.

If you are downtown Wilmington, you may want to look at Chelsea Tavern. The beer garden at Constitution Yards is down by the river where there’s also an Iron Hill and other places to eat. Haven’t been to Stitch House yet.

Beers were fine at Bellefonte (not in the town of Bellefonte) but it has zero character and food trucks may or may not appear.

Two Stones are highly successful and there are three locally in North Wilmington, Hockessin and Newark. They have good and sometimes quirky food and likely the best rotating taps in the area. They have a brewery in PA and their bars will usually have a selection.

In the Trolley Square neighborhood of the City there are several restaurants and Trolley Taphouse and The Trolley Square Oyster Bar.

Check Delaware Hop Scene, it's run by a couple that loves the Delaware beer and food scene.

Wow sorry I didnt see this sooner would have been more than happy to chime in. There is a lot of choices in the area. Iron Hill, the new Stitch House, Bellefonte, Dew Point up the road, Ernest and Scott taproom, Midnight Oil in Pencader etc.....Iron Hill is my go to-never had a bad beer or a bad meal.
