    Looks like the consensus was shake appears to be more popular over smile when the latter seems to have better flavors.

    In my opinion, nothing of that beer was remotely good. Unless if they added more components to the beer before it was bottled and the draft release was an early barrel pull, I can’t see a great variation in taste.

    We tried to warn them. Untapped scores are low as well. I skipped this sale. Hopefully the best bet they sell is better

    We're in for one of each. Wasn't enthused about it on WOL when I tried them. But, I've said before, I low key love the strong ales BL releases...so I'm hedging on regretting not buying more versus not buying any.

    This is a thread talking about BL beers you liked or didn't like, whether you were able to score beers or not, etc. Do you go around saying "Good for you?" at all the posts saying they were able to buy the beers this time? I was agreeing with the people saying the beers on sale weren't good when we tried them at the tap room or at WOL.

    An unreliable source told me that they're dropping a french toast stout today which (possibly) will be available for crowler fills.

    The BL/Horus stout they crowlered a few weeks back was $24, so I'd guess around that same price.

    Grabbed a crowler today; they were still doing the pre-filled crowlers at 9:15-ish, so I'd expect there might be fills still tomorrow. With regards to the beer, this is VERY nutmeg and cinnamon forward. If you like the old brewpub-style Christmas spiced ales, this is like an imperial version of that.
