    Disney Tips
For those traveling to Disney, many places throughout the parks and resorts now serve craft beer.

Yes variety in the parks is limited. Yes it's expensive to buy beer in the parks or at your hotel.

Yes you can bring your own beer to Disney resort pools.

Thank you Bknarr for doing the leg work for all this time.

Might want to remove Oblivion; they're permanently closed.

And maybe update Cask and Larder to Ravenous Pig, as they took over the Cask building when Cask moved to the airport.

Did not know about Oblivion... I know it was sold. Thats a shame

Even though Ravenous did move to that building, the bar and the Beer is still Called Cask & Larder. I will carify it.

I'm looking forward to Suncreek. I live in Clermont, it's only a few minutes away. And my wife used to work for the owner. He's a good guy so I hope he does well.

Thanks for taking this on, and I hope you and the rest of the Orlando BAs can keep us all current. Even being as close to you guys as I am (Tampa), it's hard to keep up with all the growth. This will be a valuable resource for trips to Orlando. Cheers!

I second the thanks for keeping up with this... Might recommend pulling in the Universal info from the other thread as I have seen questions about that pop up more recently.

    UNIVERSAL
Since I know I’ve searched Universal many times, I figured I’d post a specific thread after a short visit this weekend. I will basically post about what I found unique. Yuengling and Blue Moon are all over both parks. I did not search every inch of the place to be sure.

Universal Studios - In Springfield, the Duff brewery offers three beers (I believe all by Florida Beer Co). I only had the regular Duff. It was fine. In Harry Potter World, you will find two unique beers. There is Wizard’s Brew (a very solid sweet leaning stout) and Dragon’s Scale (a mildly hoppy red). There’s a beer cart in NY area across from Starbucks and Louie’s. They have 4 locals including Jai Alai and Orange Blossom Pilsner.

Islands of Adventure - Hogs Head in Harry Potter had the two previously mentioned beers plus a 3rd which was malty offering in the Scottish Ale style (Hog’s Head Brew). To be honest, I didn’t see much else in Islands.

City Walk - Again, here you will find Yuengling and Blue Moon at walk up carts like it is growing in trees. I found the selection at NBC Grill to be vast and certainly worth a look. Clearly the largest selection was here with probably upwards of a hundred cans, bottles and drafts. In general, there was nothing hear that knocked my socks off though. The Cow Fish had a nice, but small selection of craft including about six drafts. Each of these two places had Two Hearted which was probably the best beer at each.

Stayed at Portofino Bay and I’d say each venue there (pool, bars, restaurants) had one pretty good craft selection (including Jai Alai and Funky Buddha Hop Gun).

Castle Church Brewing is being built off of Hofner. Beer from them I have had at festivals was pretty good. It is usposed to be a brewery and a church. Not sure how that will work out.

Also I was reminded of Orlando Brewing. ( I would not waste your time). They are Orlandos Oldest and only Organic brewery. You will find them at most of the toursit attractions but not at any serious creft beer bar.

You'll want to add Rockpit Brewing to the coming in 2018 as well. One of the owners operates Orlando Homebrew Supplies. Good people and they know their stuff

You are right. I forgot about those guys. Met them at the Seminole county brew fest. Good people and the beer they had there was fantastic.

This is a great reference, thanks! I'm up in Jax and usually avoid Orlando on the way to Tampa, but this may make me plan a weekend. I have most of the information available for Jax Breweries, i should probably make one of these lists up too, when i can find the time.

Looks like Orange City is going to be getting a brewery. Some of the team from Busters Bistro in Sanfor purchased the Buffet City building. I am sure it will be at least a year before they open.
But more good things coming to the Orlando and surrounding areas.
