Enjoying some So Pro Paradise Lost with breakfast this morning. Fantastic stuff!

 

Something bright and lively on this sunny morning . . .



Light golden color with creamy white cap and lace.

Fresh clean aroma of white yeast rolls and floral, spicy hops.

Flavor is a good deal more hop forward than the scent indicated, not overtly so, rather the hops sing just a little louder than the malt. I won't go so far as to say unbalanced because it's not and the malt does surge forward occasionally but then drops back behind the hops.

Medium texture with balancing carbonation.

Good effort here, a refreshing Pilsner style that's easy to drink and has a more meaningful hoppiness than standard Euro lagers.

 

Concrete Beach Havana Lager.

 

Might have to just call this my summer beer. nOOb for the win. Finally a little relief from the near 100 degree weather we've been having. And wind. And heat...and the smell of wildfire in the air. Hope the spring fire doesn't reach La Veta. That's a cool little town... cheers, stay cool out there and don't throw your cigarette butts out the window!

Made it to Ogunquit this morning for a beautiful walk along the New England coast and now up to Kennebunkport for a beer at Federal Jacks. Not the best pale ale ever but the view is nice and the weather and relaxation is great. (Shipyard - Launch)

 

First beer of the week. Celebrating a new client win.

Finback Replenish on the right for me, and an LIC sour on the left for my boy.
