Other Half's take on Higher Burnin!

I thought the Idaho 7 was also fairly berry forward. I'd love to see that with Belma... or just more love for Belma in general from Other Half.

Higher Burnin' I believe was the first Belma hopped beer I ever had and I remember immediately thinking how well OH would do with that hop

I get the feeling the majority here is wary of lactose treatment and I'm of the same mind- the results are really mixed. Sometimes it's an incredibly delicious, totally different beer; other times it's the same beer but muddied or confused in taste and intent. I don't think the dream treatment has ever bested the non-dream beer. They're different animals.

Doesn't mean dual hops can't become the basis of awesome dream beers but if they had to choose between these and developing other recipes, I'd like to see them work more on other styles altogether.

belma is such an underrated hop (though can be a bit fickle).

ED, Belma, and i7 could be super interesting. Maybe with a little mosaic too...

Any BAs able to share if this batch of Feels Like Outer Space has been enhanced by updating the recipe? Haven't had a chance to try it on tap yet.

DDH space diamonds is ridiculous. The galaxy hops this past year have been insane. Not just with OH (TH Green, sixpoint undefined variable, etc). Where as mosaic has not been as fruity as in years past.

Stopped by OH around 6:00 for the first time since March. Holy shit was that easy, walked right up and grabbed a 4 pack with no one ahead of me. Could really get used to grabbing some cans after work with ease.

Yeah, +1 to that. While OH's mosaic beers are still really good, I don't see any reason to buy them over their galaxy beers right now. Spicy Meatballs was also awesome. Galaxy + Cashmere is even better than ddh space diamonds right now imo

would honestly love to a blind taste test of all this weekends releases. or even this past weeks. Strictly brooklyn. OH, Finback, LIC, Grimm, Interboro, Greenpoint. Prob forgetting a couple but i think the results would surprise the trade community.

Definitely an improvement but still a little diesel/fusely/hot. Could mellow out with time, but just not sure I need too many +10% beers in these 90 degree months.
