Oh! Bourbon OE, didn't know that. Looks like I'm going to Torrance. Is the Bourbon OE release tomorrow?

Sorry this is a bit late, but they have about 5 cases left as of last night.

How about Steelcraft? Do they still have Is Clock Ticking? I may have to call or drop them a line on IG

So I hear Bourbon OE is being released this weekend. Haven't seen an official announcement yet.

Had a pour of this year's batch at the LABW Festival. One of the highlights of the day for me. Looking forward to getting some bottles.

They announced it on their social media (FB and IG) almost a week ago. Releasing along with a saison and a sour.

    Edited with info:
    Saison de Miel $10/bottle
This light-bodied, rustic saison is dripping with understated old world sophistication evoking suggestions of blossoming wildflowers, Provençal herbs, and sun drenched haystacks. Notes of fleshy pear, mild phenolic spice, and faint orange zest acidity round out this Belgian style ale which is at once delicate, quaffable, and complex.

    Type O Negative $14/bottle
This beautiful beet juice-red, highly aromatic sour ale first opens up with a mixture of both dark and red berry fruit which coalesces seamlessly with a piney, herbaceous component. The moderate acidity then peaks through mid palate alongside subtle vinous characteristics and firm tannins that persist through the finish.

    Bourbon O.E. $14/bottle
Bourbon O.E. warms your core and indulges your senses. Spending over a year in barrels, BOE's generous malt character merges with notes of Vanilla, Caramel, Oak Toffee, and Pecan. Like a fine port or sherry, each year's vintage is different from the last and will continue to develop over time. #BIL

I know how much fun it is to talk about how much better previous year's batches were. "Oh, That year was so much better then this years.", everyone nods, those that never tried it get the FOMO gitters.

And then there is a beer like Bourbon OE, which seems to get better year after year. This year's batch is excellent. And yet it continues to fly under the radar.

    Great beer Smog, Thank You.

I opened a 2016 the other night and it was insane. 14% with ZERO booziness.

I really loved that one fresh, I don't think these get worse, but I would say 2016 was the best for me.

One excellent BW. I prefer that over KH, but still below ADWTD. Nonetheless one phenomenal beer.

Damn, Smog is 5 pages back!

2016 bourbon OE just sitting on the shelf at landmark liquor in HB. Don't mind if I do.

Depending on price and time, I'll probably hit up that sour cellar event. Now if they did an event for their bourbon barrel program, I'd be very, very interested.
I don't drink many sours these days, but am always down for a nice glass of Snugglebug.

Any of you kind folks know of Bourbon OE can be found anywhere further south? I've been in Carlsbad for three weeks & tonight is my last evening to enjoy your weather. I've already brought a couple hauls home with me, but would love to add this to the pile. Thanks.

I would think you'd have a decent chance at Bottlecraft... but can't confirm.

That Coconut stout was still on shelves too, so was Bluet, and I was happy as all hell.

People can keep sitting on it if they want, but I'm liking the fact that I can get a fair number of Infinite Wishes bottles. Best kept secret for Barrel-Aged heads, IMHO. Also good when pressed with coconuts. And strangely went really well with Space Cookie 50:50.
