Good morning BA, have a great Sunday! Not much going on, another normal Sunday with bottle returns, laundry, and a grocery run later on. Supposed to be another hot day, but not as bad as yesterday was.

This was excellent as I remember last year. Glad they went to cans(year round). Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate cracker, white bread dough malt balance; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body, and moderately crisp. Balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Some resins/rinds, increasing dryness, no hop astringency. Pretty refreshing for an IPA. Really great balanced dank/earthy/piney and citrus/tropical hop vibrancy; with a solid malt backbone, and minimal residual sweetness. Would buy again! Feels more dank and resinous than I remember in bottles, but it's fine by me.

This was fantastic as expected. Dense oil pour, decent head retention, minimal lacing. Flavors of huge dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, molasses, toffee, brown sugar, vanilla, fudge, toasted oak, red grape/wine, raisin, prune, fig, date, and dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of licorice, leather, tobacco, smoke, char, and herbal/grassy hops. Very mild herbal/grassy hop and roast/char bitterness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and huge full body; with a very creamy, silky, velvety, and rich mouthfeel that is fantastic. Light slickness, sticky hops, chalky roast, wine/oak tannins, and increasing dryness. No cloying sweetness. Mildly warming 12%, no barrel booze at all. Dangerously smooth sipping. Perfect balance of the rich base beer malt complexity and red wine barrels. Not overwhelming on the barrel as far as the dark fruits/tannins go. I felt the Cognac Jesus was far more tannic on the barrels. Still not as amazing as the base beer, but nothing really has been at all lately. 4.25

Just rediscovered this band yesterday, been listening all last night. New album is absolutely sick. Amazing riffing and progressions.

I am telling you BA, the people at Southern Swells are putting forth some great stuff. This is juicy, with tons of ripe melon and citrus right out the gate. This is going to get even better in a couple of weeks.

Outstanding stuff! Aromas and flavors of big juicy/tart/tangy cherries, fruit skin/pits, milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, toffee, vanilla, toasted oak, nuttiness, and dark bread; with lighter notes of molasses, licorice, raisin, prune, smoke, char, tobacco, and herbal hop. Light herbal/roast/char bitterness and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation and fairly full body; very creamy, silky, velvety, bready, and rich mouthfeel that is amazing. Light slickness, sticky hops, chalky roast, fruit tang/acidity, and increasing dryness. No cloying/acrid flavors. Mildly increasing warmth of 9%, dangerously smooth sipping. Wow, was a huge fan for sure. Amazingly rich and well rounded imperial stout malt complexity; great balance of cherries, without being overwhelming. Nice oak presence; not overly tart or bitter. They really nailed this.

This was insane! Aromas and flavors of huge tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, apricot, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/zest, and light peppercorn/pine hops; with moderate wheat, biscuit dough, light honeyed malt sweetness; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Mild pine, citrus peel, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; very creamy/silky/bready wheat mouthfeel; light sticky sticky hops, slight resins. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness. Minimal warming 9.1%. Insanely drinkable, perfectly soft feel, never aggressive. Loved the hop bill. The Columbus, Centennial, Loral, Simcoe hops provide more dank/earthy complexity, and a touch more resin drying than Boss Tweed. Maybe not better than Boss, but super close. Insanely juicy and fairly dank hop complexity; with perfect wheat/oat malt balance. Never overly sweet/heavy for the ABV. Will be a go-to all summer along with Greenstone.

On the tech death kick this weekend for sure.

Clear deep golden color with white cap and good lacing.

Aroma of bright, shiney piney hops wit some herbal tones.

Taste of clean piney hops with a surprising kick of something like pineapple or tropical like fruit that's very well comingled with the underlying malt. Not an array of flavors but enough to tell me this is a complex brew. I neither scent nor taste the alcohol and didn't realize it was 8% until I read the description after the review.

Light start to the day, but an earnest SALUTE for those who put in so much work last night on WBAYDN 2079 - that was some hilarious shit to catch up on this morning; had a dreadful working dinner with some colleagues and couldn't help but think I would rather be staring at a screen, drinking beers, and insulting strangers. So, well done all you miscreants from yesterday. *single clap* -- Now, on to root for Spain, and may Putin's boys go down in flames. They better!
Drumroll APA, to stay frosty and alert, then somethin' heavier after. Roll on, BAs... cheers!
[IMG]... and an appropriate song/tribute to both my beer, and the shite y'all were slingin' at each other last night.

Good morning, BAs! I’m regretting making yesterday a sober day. I try to schedule 2 per week during the summer, so I don’t completely wreck myself...but damn, was I ever tempted to join in the drunktivities on yesterday’s thread. If not for LNBA dying out, that would have been 30 pages!

I will try to make up for this absence today @Lingenbrau . Starting with this one from @larryi86 .

I got started on a long list of bicycle maintenance projects early this morning. Took a break to watch the first half of soccer. Espana in a spot of bother.
Survey of my refrigerator disclosed a previously unknown deposit of Waldo's.
