I'm visiting Cigar City this Thursday for the first time. Any good food recommendations near the brewery for lunch? I'm going to be staying in the Sarasota area through the weekend. Anyone have any good recommendations for good places to grab a pint or pick up some bottles to take home? I'm not familiar with any of the breweries in the area other than CCB. Thanks all!

Thanks all. That thread is super helpful. Has anyone seen any King Sue in the area? I believe Topling just canned for the first time ever, but no idea how widespread the distribution is.

Consensus on the TG beers that are brewed in Lakeland is that they are not the same quality

And what they brew in Lakeland, as far as I know doesn’t go anywhere in Florida besides the Brew Hub where it is brewed and it’s not always available.

TG is no longer brewing at Brew Hub since TG opened the new facility. Also We got $24 cases of Psuedo Sue when they stopped canning it here. It was glorious.

don't think they're distributing it down here for some reason. One of their insta posts listed the distribution for it but didn't list florida

Has anyone had any of the New Tony Janus cans? So stoked that it looks like its going to be put into distro. That is my favorite tap room staple. Was once told that it was invasion on cedar.
Curious to see if it is a good as on tap.

You are going to be in Sarasota at the right time as Calusa Brewing is doing a dual can release this weekend, they're brewing some of the best ipa's coming out of FL, I'd focus more attention to that rather than king sue. Enjoy!
