    Ridiculously high.

I will say this, if it was the original 6.8, I'd max out. That imperialization will probably drop that to 2 4s.

I’m on the same page. OG City Slickers is one of my Top 3 Favorite OH beers ever. Doesn’t need the ABV boost. Having said that, see y’all tomorrow. :sunglasses:

Trillium doesn't care about OH's locals.

Same, didn't realize when I first saw the IG post. with lemon zest, Galaxy, Citra and Ekuanot I bet it'll be pretty great still, though.

Highballers on Death Mountain actually reminded me a lot of what a Double City Slickers might taste like, and I loved that weird ass beer.

Although I'm excited for City Slickers, I'm kind of disappointed that it's a double. One of the reasons I loved that beer was the lower ABV. Kind of wish they made both versions.

This. Totally unnecessary ABV increase. I don't get why everything has to be 8.5%. The original was so good and in the best ABV range. I'll buy less of the new one for this reason alone. 8% or higher beers tend to sit longer in my fridge.

Yes but you literally have to drink them outside in the line and the corkage fee is getting a sunburn on your bald spot

Exactly! This would be the perfect week to have 3-4 4 packs of the OG in fridge/cooler

I love the OG City Slickers and while I'd prefer the lower ABV I still plan on picking up a 4pk of this. Had it been the <7% abv original I probably would have picked up half a case for the week/weekend.

Do you guys really find a big difference between a 6.7% and a 8.5% beer? Not asking in a bad way, just wondering because I don't really notice one.

I think we can all now agree that OH hates low ABV beers.

this thread is going to do iron man numbers this month.

first batch of city slickers was one of the most unique and delicious OH beers from ‘16. also extremely overlooked.

Sabre this can sounds awesome. Unfortunately I tore my ACL a week ago and getting all the way to OH on Saturday would be tough. Anyone live in the UES/Yorkville area who wouldn't mind snagging me a four-pack? Would obviously return the favor as soon as I'm mobile again!

Anyone from Long Island want to hook a brother up? Lol. AGE is one of my favorites and I’d love to try City Slickers. I’m working all week.
