    It's another hot, dry, dusty day in the Galilee. We visited several archaeological sites and a museum. The good news is that every place that sells snacks seems to sell beer. The bad news is that it's almost always Gold Star. But when it's this hot and dry, who cares?

    A lighter shade of cherry red color with scant off white cap and decent lacing.

    Deep aroma of slightly tart, slightly sweet cranberry in an amount I can only call bold.

    Taste is almost an equal mix of tart-sweet ripe cranberry that is balanced and rather complex. Not sour, not thin with mouth filling flavor.

    Medium texture with balancing carbonation.

    Made in a lambic style with wild yeast and local cranberries, this one is a pleasure to drink.

    The girls are shopping across the street, and once again I have been abandoned...lunch beer - Stone’s Fear. Movie. Lions DIPA:



    I like! Grapefruit nose/tongue. Pineapple, pine, bitter Myers lemon finish; caramel malt/semi sweet support. Medium lite body, moderate carbonation, very lite stickiness. A very drinkable DIPA with citrus pith bitter linger. I’ve seen the posts here, and the six packs in the grocery stores, but was reluctant to pull the trigger...I will buy this again! Cheers from The Fan!

    The girls are still shopping so I’m having another - BP’s “Sour Wench”, a Blackberry Ale weighing in at 7%:



    Tart berries. Light and poundable. Easy drinking when it’s in the 90’s outside. Sour fruit linger. Great berry flavor!
