Traveling with family from nj to Boston on a Friday and was hoping to stop in tree house and pick up some cans. How crazy is it on a Friday around 5pm? Is there a line at that time? I'm going to have a car with kids in it and it would just be a run in grab and go. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

Not sure why this requires its own thread, but to answer your questions:

Q: How crazy is it on a Friday around 5pm?
A: All depends on what is available and/or released that day.

Q: Is there a line at that time?
    A: Almost certainly, yes.

Q: I'm going to have a car with kids in it and it would just be a run in grab and go.
    A: Almost certainly, no.

Q: Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
A: I hope you have a good divorce lawyer on retainer.

Yea you'd definitely have to wait in line. If you could get there a littke earlier tho it night be vetter to beat the rush post work. Ive been up there a few times and my shortest line wait was about 20 minutes and longest about 45 minutes or so. The line moves quick, but if you dont give your wife a heads up on what the situation is and if you cant wait then its a no go.

Worth noting they have a huge pergola and nice Adirondack chairs and a real nice outdoor space. So as long as the weather is decent and not too hot you could let the kiddos run aroud and play outside to burn off some steam from a long drive.

I do the reverse drive on Friday afternoon fairly often, as I have family in northern NJ, and usually attempt to stop by the brewery along the way. I've had a similar experience to @RollTide7 - wait times between ~15 minutes to ~45 minutes. The drive from the pike to the brewery takes about 10 minutes one-way so best case scenario it's a 40 minute detour. I'd recommend keeping an eye on line updates (Twitter, etc.) as you're approaching the CT/MA border.
