It was ok, nothing memorable about it. I really like CAMP, though.

That was all me and totally my oversight. As claimed on Instagram, there's... a lot going on over here. I'll temper my trigger finger going forward.

Had a taster and totally agree. However, I wanted to take some home, only to find out that it’s $20 for a crowler. That’s outta hand. People complain about $22/4 packs from Monkish, and CAMP is the equivalent of $40/4 pack.

I’m a BL fanboy but that’s just stupid. I can go down the street and get a crowler of White Chocolate for $19...and they’re more know for being too pricey. I would really like a honest explanation for this kind of pricing.

They had a WC Session IPA on for $18 crowlers the other week. Compared to Nobles session IPA crowlers for $10.

Yes, this is exactly why I didn't grab one. The Price shocked me. Equal to a $40 growler of a DIPA....fuuuuuuu.

Their IPA's arent even that great to be charging that much.

    Green Cheek crowlers all day.

Reading these comments while drinking a Swami's at $13.49 a 6 pack makes this beer taste like heaven.

Draw me wasn't BA, was it?

But the point remains, $20-24 for a crowler of IPA is insane. Especially because their IPAs are hit or miss at best.

As an old school WC guy, I find it hard to get behind all the lactose, almond, nutmeg, passionfruit haze IPA business going on over there. I'll agree that Radiant Beauty is good, but they won't sell kegs for us kegerator people.

The decline of Noble of late has been well documented here already by DC. If the session referenced above is Nose Candy, it's still good, but I haven't seen anything remarkable in a while over there.

As for BL, I'm finding their WC offerings consistently solid. Really enjoyed Elegant/Civilized IPA, Updated Privacy Policy, Cobra Attack (a bit floral), and I'm hopefully picking up an NDA today.

Updated Privacy Policy is better than any other hoppy beer I've had from them in a while. Bummed it wasn't on for fills when I was there last time. I hate to say it, but most of their IPAs are pedestrian.

Went to BL before the game last night. Friendly staff and I enjoyed the BA stout taster. Camp was pretty solid though it kind of came and went on the tounge. Went to Noble afterwards and really liked Citra Showers

I agree with you on their WC IPA's. Sure GC gets experimental a little but they have a good equal variation of taplist.

For the most part they can brew a really good Lager to Hazy IPA's (with no adjuncts).

And let's be real here, no one really talks about how great BL core tap list is. Their BA beers are a different story.

The core tap list at most breweries is pretty average. I've never bought a Big Whig in my life after the first time. I'm talking about BL's one off WC IPAs. I can't find anything better lately that's available in a keg. MT included.

Green Cheek can undoubtedly brew anything very well, it's just that they don't have many offerings for boring guys like me. Look at their tap list today - sour ipa w/ guava and passionfruit, milkshake ipa w/ almonds and nutmeg, hazy imperial milk sugar cream ipa, champagne brut ipa, or a belgian style pale.

Brut IPAs are just west coast by another name IMO. Pretty 'boring' indeed.

    Cheers!
