I'm not touting it one way or another, but curious to know what you would've liked to see? I'm guessing lots of people would like DDH Loose Candies, including myself. I'm just not sure what else are the highly thought of beers from them that people want to see released (outside of more stouts). I think DDH Double Dusty is rated high as well, and I'd like to try it again considering the last batch had carb issues.

Speaking of stouts, it seems like they should be doing a release for one again soon, doesn't it? It's been almost 2 months since the BA Henna releases, and those were sitting in barrels prior to that. So, am I right that they've only brewed one stout this year? It boggles my mind that they aren't doing a stout per month, but maybe I think they have more brewing capacity than they really do.

Should’ve saved the Galaxy hops and brewed a Juicy clone

Totally agree. Maybe not per month but surprised there has not been a couple more after S'more. I mean, Shaun put out 6 stouts (if you include Coconilla growlers) in a year plus his original Chaos (& 2 variant) release in the beginning of that year at Ram. Juicy was great and I still prefer it over most if not all More hops but his stouts are what really put him on the map.

A canned stout release would have been brilliant for the anniversary.

Isn’t it possible that maybe, just maybe, they’re not releasing a stout to go right now because it’s 94 degrees every day? Yeesh

That’s possible. But that didn’t stop them last year when they released Henna b1. I believe that was a summer release. And besides, NO ONE would complain about seeing another imperial stout released by MoRE, whether released summer or winter. I was just thinking the other day that I’m already getting a bit tired of drinking IPAs (and the like styles) constantly... need to change the styles of beer I’m consuming. Stout would be just fine with me.

Yah I’m not sure every brewery releases beers based on the level of complaints they’d receive by releasing said beer. I believe some brew and release based on seasons and appropriateness of style to season.

No doubt. Breweries release whatever they feel whenever they feel, and I agree that the imperial stouts are predominantly released in the winter (in general when taking into account the whole beer scene). I just hoped that when MoRE opened and Shaun had more freedom to release beers as he pleases, that he would be releasing what amounted to be the most desired beers from his Ram days even more frequently at MoRE.

But also each passing day that MoRE doesn’t release a Henna beer, it just gets that much more hype and will become that much more ‘coveted’ by the masses.

What's the over/under on these cans selling out? 2 hours?

Hoping the last two weeks were holiday bumps and not the new normal for their Friday cans

Does More have air conditioning? This time of year I find it is usually cooler inside than in the winter time.

This is crazy, but bear with me guys...what if one of the "cellared" beers served up for on-premise consumption this weekend turns out to be...a brand-new stout? BOOM! Pure chaos and frenzy!

I was there yesterday at 4pm the posted time of the start of this weekends event. Seemed like a normal Thursday afternoon for me and the other 4 people that were there. Why say it starts on Thursday when it doesn't?

this is what im curious about. all 5 can releases are available today, but they have can releases on the calendar Friday, Saturday, Sunday @ 11am. did they split up the allotments equally across all 3 days? do they just push it all until it sells out?

Isn’t it also possible that it’s Chicago and it’s only been warm for a few weeks? Not to mention they have released stouts in warm weather months before. I find it strange there has been only 3 base stouts made ina year. Although, they did also have some legged versions of Karma versions that were legged. I’d still say it’s a low stout production and would be curious to know the reasoning.

With just one 4 pack per beer per person, do people really expect it to sell out in hours? I guess it depends on how big the canning runs were for each of them.
