I mean I hope not, but this is the Chicago beer scene we are talking about...

Lots of fruits were harmed during the making of that beer.

bumping this for posterity for when people, once again, act surprised by the ridiculousness of a chicago beer release.

at first i couldn't believe when i got the text that the last round of frooted sold out in like 45 minutes. but then after i thought about it, i could believe it.

for the record, i'm in my office downtown and not on my way to more right now. these releases just wear me out, mentally and physically.

I would be shocked if any cans make it past today.

Do you recall what the limits were on that?

For the record, I’m at home working and have no intention of going over there either. I find the demand for these beers somewhat curious, as they seem to not really score any better than what most of us can find on shelves. That’s not a jab at them - I’ve enjoyed nearly all of the More beers I had. I just don’t see them as something I need to run over right away for. And then I look on FB and see people selling the 4 packs for $30.

the instagram posts for the limits for that last frooted was 4 4-packs, but from the sound of it from the people that were there the limits were dropped to 2 4-packs.

Buddy that went up for us got 4 4pks of the Frooted last time. They may have adjusted it as the day went though. Who knows.

I think I'm going to stick to eating fermented fruit out of dumpsters for my fruit/alcohol kick....

Wow that is crazy and like what @croush said we can probably fine a similar product on shelves... Of course I am not a fan of KISS or Frooted series so not much for me here except to try that gose and the DDH Spaceboots

It’s easier for people in NYC or Boston to get cans of Other Half, Tree House and Trillium than it is for people in Chicago to get cans of More. Granted, More is much smaller than those breweries, but I still find it amusing and strange.

Agreed. Everytime I have one of their beers I just fail to get the craze around their can releases...they're fine but nothing I'd go out of my way to get.

I can honestly say I haven't found anything remotely similar to the Frooted series on a shelf anywhere. It's pretty unique, even as far as fruit beer goes.

What’s the line really lookin like at this point? Would like to make a trip over there this early afternoon if it isn’t insanely long. Cheers!

I'd say that one is the exception. And it's certainly a polarizing one as well. I enjoyed it, but don't think I'd buy a 4 pack if it were on the shelf (and I'm skeptical most people would).

I'd say the rest of the cans are pretty easy to find comparable beers to. Maybe not specifically a tangerine flavored gose, but there are certainly other gose beers available. I'm no expert in that area to know if others are better/worse than what More is putting out.
