    Good morning, everyone.

Back home after an extended holiday. To be fair, I had to get back here otherwise would have stayed much longer as the weather was with me...

    Oh and drinking SNPA...

    Cheers!

Good marketing is half the battle and this label had me hook, line, and sinker.

WBAYDN, still the best thread on this whole site. So glad I joined the BA community 3+ years ago.

It’s fixin’ to rain, so I better shoot my pic before it begins to pour:

If you love cherries like I do, seek this one out. German Black Forest Chocolate Cherry Cake and not boozy and dangerously easy drinking for 11%, even in this heat!

Late posting today b/c original post got lost in the thread merge this morning, and I was up late sharing local beers with my brother in law yesterday:

Edmund’s Oast’s “Bound By Time” IPA:

A crowler of Charlestowne Fermentory’s “Sungazer” IPA:

And we closed the cook out down with Westbrook’s “Mexican Cake” 2018:

Lots of great beer in Charleston SC - Cheers y’all!

It’s pouring rain and Mrs. Z is curled up in the bed with the Great Dane snoozing, and I’ve moved on to beer #2 - Edmund’s Oast Brewing Company, Charleston SC, “Bound By Time” IPA:

Ooops, I was a little aggressive in pouring (don’t say anything to @Lingenbrau )...I thought this beer was a little sharp and hop astringent last night, but not so much this morning. Bitter citrus rind, smoothish feel
and even tastier/juicier lemon and grapefruit than I remembered. A very tasty and easy IPA. Cans are now hitting the local grocers, but I’m told the distro is still limited to Charleston area. FYI Edmund’s Oast is also a great restaurant for the foodies/beer lovers out there!

Drinking on the deck again, beautiful day.

NEPA or session NEIPA if you prefer, is a bit tough to pull off IMO. Tend to be watery and flavor fades on the palate by the end. This one is good. Nice fruity flavors that hang on longer than some others I’ve tried.

I would probably prefer a style that lends itself better to low ABV and save the NEIPA for something that’s at least around 6%.
