[IMG] Poured slightly chilled into my 16 Great Divide Snulip Glass, not sure when it was canned but I know recently. Pours a viscous near pitch black with a 2 plus finger brown head that nice thin wisps of lace. 4.25

Smell is what you expect peanut butter, chocolate, vanilla, and a hint of biscuity grain. 4.75

Taste follows exactly what it was brewed for, I would love to eat a Reese’s Peanut Butter cup with this, the nail it. 4.75

Mouthfeel is bigger than medium, plenty of life, maybe a little dry, and at 9.4% this drinks as easy as any stout on earth. 4.75

Overall this brewery has been a let down with NEIPA for me so far, but this is a really well put together and deliscious beer. 4.5

Packers are here, and I forgot to leave some glassware out.

Travel day, stop at Tree House then overnight in Manchester and fly home tomorrow. I have 45 cans in my Uline insulated shipper before the Tree House stop....uh-oh...old pic, good beer. Kappy's got a load of Sip yesterday.

1 - one of my favorite starter beers, Drumroll APA. Has pretty much everything I look for in a pale ale. Great balance, flavor, presence, and a solid malt backbone while still crisp and hoppy. Cheers!

    You guys.

I like the Chinese food in the morning and beer. Cheers!

Thai Style Bok Choy with Carrots and Peppers paired with Bronx American Pale Ale

For nutritious you cannot beat Chinese style cooking. Here is a simple dish that will take any addition of either meat, fish or tofu. What makes this Thai style is Thai peppers, and instead of soy I used nuac nam or fish sauce. Just a little oyster sauce. Colorful carrots and peppers make it citrusy and pair well with the lime. Jasmine rice. The beer is citrusy piney and in the English style of the pale ale I think. See that darker color. Cheers!

Good morning, BAs! Nothing like an 11% ipa to activate the senses.

Internet problems are finally solved here today, with the rewiring of some underground cables.
Yesterday evening I was typing up a posting but it didn't make it because the connection dropped again.

I've taken the liberty to include What beer did you drink yesterday in this posting, since it's a hard to get beer (at least around here). I'll spare you the history blah blah about the book

    Cheers!

[IMG] Sometimes you purchase a 4 pack and you get this crazy underwhelming beer. Not undrinkable, but wow you want to forget it.

No outdoor shots this morning until things clear up. Itching to do some yard work but this rain is preventing it.

On this bright mild day . . .

Color of light yellow gold with bountiful white cap and solid lacing.

Scent of mild sweet malt and floral hops with a discernible touch of ripe fruits such as melon or pineapple.

Taste seems simple at first but grows increasingly complex as the flavors roll over the tongue. Malt is there, no lack of it for sure, but mainly appears to bolster the slightly sweet, slightly ripe fruits. Hops I notice in the back of the palate where a refreshing bitterness arises to put an end to things. Until the next swallow which is just as good.
