    Just started my shift with changing 2 kegs so as the dedicated employee I am I have to try them out. First off is a standard brown ale from Danish Dry & Bitter brewery. I've been craving stouts lately but we are having one of the best summers in Denmark ever so it's just too hot for stouts. A brown ale is a nice substitute though.

    Friend brought back some Danish (Bryg) beer to try. First up is the pale ale - very nice, actually. 5.9% - crisp, balanced, a little bready. I could drink this often. Has a touch of an amber quality to it, but nicely made. Cheers!

    Lust for life, 5,3% ABV session IPA from Ebeltoft Gårdbryggeri.
    This is absolutely perfect for a warm summer day like today. Easy drinkable, a bit of lime and sweetness, looks beautiful. A great beer and just what I needed.

    It's rather warm here in NW Europe at the moment. Here in NL we're having the firsts heatwave since years. Great weather voor a beer like this.

    Pleasant late week pause . . .

    Very light yellow-gold color with white cap and lacing.

    Aroma of sweet, mellow grain with a touch of floral hops.

    Flavor is rounded grain which comes across as caramel without being sweet. Floral hops more prominent in the scent yet traces are found in the flavor. Not complex flavors but very good ones. Clean, solid and refreshing.

    While my wife is gone, the vinyl will play and the beer flow...I guess I should figure out how to setup my turntable in the 'Fortress of Solitude' so the vinyl can be played anytime...
