was able to grab some V18 cans at Printer's Row Wine yesterday, and damn, I love it. Nose is dank and heavy pine trees. The beer is like a dank, piney, bitter, and dry IPA with the full fluffy thick mouthfeel of an NE IPA. If you are looking for juicy, fruity, low bitterness, this one is probably not for you, but if you want to drink a thick fluffy dank pine tree, this is definitely up your alley. wish there would be more NE IPAs with this kind of hop bill, and less of the usual hops we see in this kind of beer.

UA/HC tap takeover kicking off at Yard House tonight in case anyone finds themselves in the area. Fresh IIPA V18 and Fresh IIPA One Hop Citra (kegged yesterday) as well as No Regrets, LS VII (Mango), and LS XX (Strawberry Rhubarb) on draft. Say hi of you come by - I'll be the longhair in the Une Année t-shirt.

Our first Hubbard's Cave BA stout has landed! Barrel Aged Chocolate & Raspberry Pot de Crème is on draft at the tap room RIGHT MEOW. Will probably be the best chance for many to try it as bottle sales will be extremely limited.

Grabbed this on your recommendation- was pretty fantastic. Per their Instagram - HC was going for a Piney The Elder like beer

Having a V19 right now...canned 8/8 so super fresh. The hop bill is Ella & Summer, both of which I did not know were hops before I snagged this.

First of all, the mouthfeel is pretty much perfect for the "New England" style, at least as I recognize it...soft, pillow-y, not too thick, not too thin.

There's a banana vibe to this that's not quite "Belgian", but isn't that far away either. Hints of tangerine peel & dry wheat round out the flavor.

I prefer a more citrus-forward IPA, but this was well above average. Worth tracking down, in my opinion.

Yea I liked this one quite a bit also, already went through the four pack I picked up this week. The hop combo is super interesting, I was getting some herbs, spicy, floral, even a hint of black licorice(?) off it. Real cool. Perfect mouthfeel also as you mentioned.

Hubbards Cave Barrel-Aged Chocolate & Raspberry Pot De Creme available today. $23 a 750 which is practically $50 a 4 pack so fuck this greedy brewery.

pretty sure the mikerphone discussion was comparing 4 packs of BA stouts, but keep propping up strawmen as you're so apt to do

It was more of a dollar per oz argument.

Ridiculous! I guess I'll just have to try it at Fobab when I drop $80 for a ticket to try a total of 30ozs of pours...

For me, Claire's is on the edge of too much raspberry. This one blows right Claire's and has a ridiculous amount of raspberry. To the point of masking the barrel. So if you enjoy berry/raspberry stouts, this one will be right up your alley.

Whenever I can grab a single from Bottles & Cans I do, now that they can their beers...which was a great move on their part. This one spoke to me.

To paraphrase the late Dennis Green, I'm not ready to crown their asses, but I think they did a great job with this one. Who knows, I may be a 'fanboy' before long...
