Good morning BA, have a great Saturday! Another typical day, not much going on. Might hit up my favorite store again to see whats new. I've got more than enough stuff to review right now thanks to last weeks Ohio run.

Super fresh and fantastic! Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, pineapple, mango, melon, guava, berry, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate honey, lightly toasted biscuit malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; balanced creamy/bready/grainy malt and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing lingering bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Insanely smooth and not overly aggressive. Super juicy, dank, vibrant, and earthy balanced hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, with minimal resiudual sweetness from lingering bitter dryness. Just as delicious as I remember last year when I reviewed it. Feels a bit more resinous and dank this time around.

6.5 year revisit. Glad to have HF in the state, and small bottle formats! This was amazing as expected. Minimal head and lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of huge dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, molasses, toffee, vanilla, fudge brownie, whiskey, toasted oak, and dark bread; with light notes of coconut, marshmallow, licorice, raisin, plum, smoke, char, leather, and tobacco. Touch of booze in the aromas as it warmed, but not overwhelming. Mild roast/char bitterness and bourbon/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Light carbonation and full body; very creamy, silky, velvety, and rich mouthfeel that is amazing. Slight slickness, chalky roast, oak tannins, and increasing dryness. No cloying/acrid flavors. Super smooth sipping, mildly increasing warmth of 9.4%, no barrel booze. My opinion actually remains pretty similar! Amazingly rich well rounded imperial stout malt complexity, with perfect barrel integration. Not overly bitter, charred, or tannic. Glad to have this as shelf beer now, will get another eventually. 4.35

Fatamorgana quad dry hopped. This was fantastic as expected. Great head retention/lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, light pepper, and pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light honey malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; creamy/bready/grainy malts, some sticky hops, and light resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness, minimal hop astringency. Dangerously smooth for 8%, almost refreshing. Great soft feel. I reviewed the base beer 4 years ago, this did not blow me away as much. Will definitely buy this again, though. All Citra, Centennial, and CTZ hops. Super juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy balanced hop complexity; with a nice bready wheat/oat/malt backbone, and minimal residual sweetness from lingering dryness. Delicious spot on NEIPA style. Base was probably the first NEIPA I ever had, so having others over time probably shifted the opinion down. Will have to find the regular one again soon.

Insane stuff as usual this year! Aromas and flavors of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, toffee, fudge brownie, vanilla, cinnamon, chili pepper, smoke, toasted dark bread, and light dark fruit/char; with some herbal spice earthiness. Bittersweet roast/spice balanced finish. Medium carbonation and very full body; with an amazing creamy, silky, velvety mouthfeel; with light touches of sticky spice, chalky roast, and slickness. Minimal dryness, no cloying sweetness. Minimal warming 13%. Minimal lingering pepper spice heat, but really great flavor presence. Very rich/decadent, with spot on balance of spices. This has a thicker/fuller body and better mouthfeel than regular Bomb!, which makes this just a bit better overall for me; but I always love both. Glad they keep bringing it back. I always buy a handful every year now.

New album is killer. Right on par with the 2014 release.

This to brighten up my overcast morning . . .

Attractive clear deep gold color with white cap.

Deep scent of a mature forest floor, vegital and somewhat herbaceous.

Bountifully juicy hop flavor and I realize how hackneyed that sounds yet that's my impression. Perhaps the bouncy looking bunny on the label is influencing my thoughts. Fresh hops do shine though and increase a bit in intensity as we approach the finish.

What's up fellow beer drinkers! Glad to join the virtual bar. Sipping on an Anagram from Omnipollo. This is a bourbon barrel-aged cheesecake stout. Not my favorite, but pretty tasty. Cheers!
