I every release leads to an argument about whether or not said rotation is actually a Kolsch.

So the kolsch will be a rotating series. RIP boogie board stuntz. We’ll always think fondly of those hats.

I'm super curious as to what this five-way collab is going to be.

What if the line life haze bros think the Trillium collab is a DIPA? It would be easy to mistake for that, in which case the pilsners may sell out faster than you think. I would love to see their faces if they purchased them, and found out later on they were actually pilsners.

the trillium collab pils is one of the "beer"iest beers I've ever had from OH. it's not a ddh pils or a pina colada kolsch or something, this is a clean, clear pilsner through and through. it's damn good, not Suarez good but still damn good.

Beyond the fact that the OH German styles rarely even remotely resemble the German styles they proclaim to be presenting, there’s also the issue that they ain’t very good.

I thought Flughafen Tanzhalle was one the better beers Other Half has released in a while. I've actually really liked their pilsners, helles, and kölschs. I mean they're not Suarez but they've always been worth picking up.

I was never a big fan of Boogie Board Stuntz but I tried Flughafen Tanzhalle at the taproom recently and thought it was very good

I am all for the diversification of the lineup at OH as I always was overwhelmed by the sheer number of IPAs on tap, so I am rooting for them on the lagers/German-style front, but they have a long way to go.

The kolsch to me was an unremarkable session IPA, but independent of style classifications, if a beer is good to you or anyone else, that is all that matters. It was not my bag. It should be noted though, that if attempting a style and proclaiming the product as of said style, it is subject to scrutiny and comparison with beers of that style.

Is this the fastest a non-collab OH stout has sold out? Does that one rare Smoke Screens variant with vanilla / coconut / coffee hold the title?
