    I don't think I've ever seen the SN Okto before August around here -- then again, the area's SN distro likes to have all of his accounts cleaned out of the previous "seasonal" before he shelves the next.

    For what that's worth, saw Summerfest on sale for $7.99 a six-pack. Coincidence? :wink:

    In PA I am paying over 10 bucks a 6-pack for Sierra Nevada beer in comparison.:slight_frown:

    Ug. That's exactly what I used to pay for beer when I lived in Oregon and bought a lot of what I drank at WinCo -- where that photo appears to have been taken. Almost nobody believed me when I said prices in PA averaged at least 40% higher, but $6.88 was the norm for me there. I don't even want to guess as to how much I pay for beer now, but it's definitely at least $9.99 a sixer.

    Until fairly recently I would purchase beers from Sly Fox for a reasonable price per 6-pack (e.g., $7.99 a 6-pack). Unfortunately those prices have gone up in the past year but at least they are still less than 10 bucks a 6-pack. They also have the positive aspect that these beers are fresh at my local beer retailers (and on occasion I will buy them at the Sly Fox brewpub).

    Non-cheers to "40% higher".

    Hey Jack, why is it you have this deep need to find a way to contradict me every time I post something that doesn't match your own thought process?

    I mean seriously, I say, "I don't think I've ever seen the SN Okto before August around here." Around here being Northern Illinois -- far from California where B_Horne lives and took a mid-July picture of beer brewed right up the road.

    Sierra Terence has already mentioned that the 2018 SN Oktoberfest is available near the 2 breweries -- big deal. It's not on shelves in Northern Illinois or Southern Wisconsin -- I'll bet it's not even on shelves in your area of PA.

    So do me a favor and add me to your ignored list so that, from now on, you aren't compelled to troll my posts -- it'll make us both happier in the long run.

    The Sly Fox Oktoberfest is pretty tasty. I'll have to take a look at the price of that one when I pick up some SN.

    I agree. I ended up buying two 12-packs of Sly Fox Oktoberfest last year. From memory I think I paid $18.99 for those 12-packs.
