Growler Filling Policy: "Please feel free to fill as many growlers as you would like. In Pennsylvania, each transaction must be limited to 192 fluid ounces. This means that upon receipt, if you would like to purchase more than 192 fluid ounces of our beer, you must leave the premises and then return to pick up additional beer (and then repeat the cycle if you’d like any more beer!).

We will also be opening up for 64 oz growler fills on MOST ALL BEERS. There will, of course, continue to be a few beers that we will not do any growler fills of (one-off kegs, anniversary beers, etc.), but this should be a rare occurrence.

We will continue to fill our branded glassware only, as we are STILL exceedingly proud to put our name on our Strange & Beautiful beer. If this is a very big issue for you, we will be happy to let you “trade-in” any growler for one of ours. Sound good?"

    Growler fill Prices
    64 oz:
    $20.00
    32 oz: $10.50
    Glass: $5.00

(prices vary occasionally for higher gravity / limited quantity beers)

The Cafe is now selling 32oz crowlers.

150 cases of Gatherer made it to the next day. I really hope this is the new normal.

I got there last night about 7 or so. Line way maybe 20 people long, was out in 15 minutes with my allottments. They still had a lot of shakes left but I see they sold out later that night.

Ferm was packed, I wanted to eat there but it was an hour wait. We grabbed a shake pour 8oz from tap, it was still a little hot. I liked it though, gonna smooth out nicely. Headed over to El Limon for dinner and had a great meal there, highly recommended for anyone n00bs to the area looking for some authentic mexican.

Yeah rolled up around 8:20 or so and they had the line split between the bar and down at the garage doors so there were only three people in front of me. Had a shake last night and although I wish it had more banana (like that place on the boardwalk in Ocean City that does all of the soft serve with bananas, if that's even still around) it basically tasted like a better double vanilla imo. Creamy and with the vanilla and sweetness really coming through, probably my favorite of the recent shakes.

Fully agree, but banana is really hard to get the flavors from unless you really use over ripe bananas, I mean really over ripe. Still, a really good double that I'm glad I got.

Yeah gotta use those banana bread bananas. Would have been interesting if they had tried using a strain of belgian yeast to get that banana/clove or if that would mess up the process way too much since they have the yeast for their shakes (and most of their clean beers one and the same? dialed in)

Banana seems really difficult to incorporate well into beers, I've only personally had / heard about bad experiences save for one (Prop 17). Glad to hear this one turned out well, it sounded like it could have been a mess.

Was thrilled to get there at 1015 and still had every thing except 2017 Gatherer. Got 2 of High Road and 2 Gatherer. Had a small pour of the shake. Not a big fan of bananas.

I'll put a plug in for this week's Bottle Smell Taste event:

Tom Hand's was one of my personal favorites from the Sixth year anniversary and while I haven't gotten a chance to try emptiness farm, paying $5 for the opportunity to try a bottle before investing in a full mag is nice.

That’s a great deal for that line up. I would have loved to have tried that emptinessfarm before buying one. I am surprised Toms Hands is still around.

Yeah I have an Emptiness sitting in my cellar too. Would love to try it to see how excited I’ll be for my bottle.

Had another Banana Forster shake this weekend, still needs some more time to breath and I'm still not getting a lot of banana.

you probably never will... kind of like the pineapple shake never really has pineapple... kind of a shame they don't make these gimmick beers taste more like the gimmick... that is what makes the shakes great and most have not been great for some time

how was the nelson magomagotagotago? been hearing it was fantastic and up their with OG Mago and the cafe 3rd anniversary mosaic mago

Anyone else feel that the D2H3: Nelson is lacking? I had it side by side this past weekend with Hop Hands and D2H3: Mosaic, and it was the worst of the bunch for me, and Nelson is probably my favorite hop. I think it's a bit oxidized, actually.
