Yeah, we just will likely not have any more 1pp <200 can releases. But I don't think we'll see any major change besides that.

I will crack Feral Faun tonight and let you know how it is for sure.

Feral Faun is a little rough around the edges fresh.

Since it was only 1 crowler per person I would hang on to it for a little while if you're not close enough to Brick Farm Tavern to give it a try.

I don't understand putting this in the article. It's almost as if the writer is trying to keep people from visiting the place. BFT has a bar area, high top tables and outdoor seating also.

Any draft beer they produce (including all of Troon’s lagers) are distributed just a few feet to the restaurant, which serves as the de facto taproom (although, remember it really is a high-end white-tablecloth restaurant where a seven-course chef’s tasting menu will set you back $98 per person).

Went here for the first time on sunday & wasn't sure what to expect.

2 beers on tap..one very good the other was just OK to me. All Jersey taplist was nice to see.

We sat at the bar and it was much more casual then expected, did not feel under dressed in a tank top and flip-flops as others were wearing the same. Menu is slightly pricey but expected for a high endish restaurant.

The burger was AWESOME and empanadas great too.

Slightly disappointed only 2 Troon beers on tap though and nothing to go. Great stop as I was in the area but unfortunatly can not justify the over hour drive to make more often

yeah and he mainly supplies the tavern with beer.. as you can tell if they only have 2 different beers on that he has a problem even meeting demand for the tavern/let alone "to go"... it's nice when they have 4 troon beers on over there and yeah I've been in there at the bar in baseball hat/shorts/flops etc many times... so if anybody is ever worried about that don't be.. sure some may be dressed up but it was the tavern that decided to take on a brewery and had to understand that patrons coming for beer weren't going to be expecting a upscale restaurant

I've not been up there since end of last summer as it is a drive for me too... was certainly nice when they first opened to take it all in in all it's grandeur though. the beer is still great.. I've gotten a few crowlers from friends over the past year but demand is just too damn high and supply can't keep up... good problem for him/them to have... at least for now..

Most I have seen on-tap from Troon is 5, usually it hovers around 3 or 4 if I remember right. According to the bartender he (Alex) sometimes will 'forget' kegs (whether this is intentional or not, no idea) so it's kind of neat to see some older Troon stuff resurface occasionally like Frightened Rabbit recently did.

No release this week so I guess it makes sense there is only two on tap for now, let's hope that changes soon

and yeah, the bar is definitely more casual than the rest of the place. and I don't know if they have a dress code to begin with aside from the standard of you need to have clothes on

I think this was a roundabout way of pointing out "this place is expensive." And it is. I went with a friend. Three small appetizers and a few beers = $50+ per person. (I think I had three small pours of each Troon on tap, plus a full pour of one of them).

i thought the beer was priced equally with just about any taproom.. the food is on the more expensive side but not by a ton... beers i think are around what $7 for full pours? apps like $10-13.. burger like $13-18 depending on add ons?... sure if you drink 3 beers each and apps plus tax/tip it'll be $50... not many places of high quality you can get 3 beers and food plus tax/tip for under $40 that are worth a damn... shit even Iron Hill would set you back something similar

Happy Hour on Wednesdays has been pretty nice but keep in mind the $5 beer is not any of the Troon. I initially thought it was but they were pouring the Founders All Day IPA for that. However, Annie will make you a fantastic cocktail.

I rarely go for the food though, even though it is pretty great stuff

Not disagreeing with any of this; it is a bit more expensive than some other places of "high quality" but the lesser informed might balk at a $30 tab for a burger and a 12 oz. beer ($17 burger, $8 beer, 20% tip = $30 even).

Also the apps I got were some spiced mixed nuts, a small serving of carrot hummus, and some fancy cocktail weenies. All fantastic but it was small, fancy food.

Think this is the longest he's gone between releases in a long time. I wonder what's going on.

Was wondering that too. Drove right by there on my way to Referend just now. Was hoping for a release announcement.

Really? Cuz release days last 2 hours max. And they literally brew one beer each week.
