    I picked this up when I was in DC earlier this week from a terrific bottle shop. My first beer from Commonwealth Brewing and it does not disappoint. It’s actually really good!

    @guinness77 I think I read that you were going to Virgina Beach soon. You should check out the brewery!

    Big time whiskey in this since Ranger Creek also distills their own whiskey and than uses the barrels for this. This has mellowed out greatly over the last 5 months. A very hot brew when it was fresh. 4packs are still around town for $15. I'll have to snag some more for winter to keep tasting how it ages. Mouth feel is spot on for an imperial stout aged in whiskey barrels for me. Well done.

    Everyone is napping, including the dog. So I get to drink in peace.

    Such a damned good beer. So refreshing. Nice dank bite too. 10 days off start now...our trip to Virginia starts in about 11 hours. Fuckin. A.

    Haha, thanks for thinking about me. Had a bunch of Commonwealth when I was there last year and I’m stopping at the brewery tomorrow after I get off the bridge. I’m definitely a fan. Cheers.
