It looks like there is a black background, which will look weird with any beer that's not dark.

Man I can’t see that (but on top of #basicbitchpalate I’m also colour blind)

It is clear all the way around. Unless I am misunderstanding your observation.

I could totally be wrong, but it looks like there is a black background where the gold broccoli are (to where the broccoli is cut off). The black hue looks slightly different. And the fact that some broccoli are cut off at all suggests a background to me, as well.

Oh ok now that I know exactly what you are referring to I can tell you that it definitely is clear all the way through. I will try and upload the pic I have.

I think you're wrong, the band you're seeing is just the printing range of these wrapped tekus. The cropped broccoli is just am effect of that

It is clearly blue and black, not white and gold.

Popped my first bottle of Throw S'More last night... damn. That is a classy stout. You get clear graham cracker / toasty marshmallow flavors (esp on the nose) followed by a big hug of cognac. Love it.

Vanilla Futurez on the other hand will be suuuper divisive. A five-brewery collab stout when only one of the breweries is heralded for stouts, lol. Definitely has weird medicinal flavors but in a kind of nice Fernet Branca type of way. Tastes like a Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper / Fernet cocktail.

I’d like to see that. There’s some weird photoshopping happening on the Instagram. Top of the bottle and the teku that just fades into oblivion

If saffron takes like Dr Pepper, then you will taste the saffron. Didn’t get any of the quadruple vanilla tho...

Drinking a DDH ACE right now, this beer is absolutely fantastic. Drinking perfect now. And believe it or not, didn’t need 5 different breweries to make it fantastic. And it drinking it out of a regular old school OH tulip, hard to believe it still tastes this great without a DDH ACE gold glass.

Totally agree that OH's non-collab stuff outside of a few beers like City Slickers 1, Boogieboard Stunts, and Berries are better. That being said I love vanilla stouts so even if this beer was not a collab I'd pick it up for sure.

Berries is one of the best stouts i ever ever had, period. That memory keeps sucking me in for OH stouts.
